Everyone seems to have secrets in this story by Racy Li. Liz is a FBI informant who works for a law firm that has connections to the crime organization, the Snakehead Triad. Liz’s secretary, Ken, has secrets of his own. He has a big crush on Liz, which is not so secret, and he has a secret identity as the Ninja. After the Ninja saves Liz from an attack by a Triad alchemist, they become lovers. Things start to get complicated when Liz and Ken become lovers too. She doesn’t know he’s the Ninja and he’s jealous of himself. Everything comes to a head when Liz and Ken have to take a business trip to Hong Kong. The Ninja has to confront his enemies within the Triad and save his relationship with Liz all at the same time.
This was a great story with wonderful characters. Ken is so strong and fights for justice as the Ninja. Liz is a very strong woman who knows what she wants. She’s just confused because she wants the Ninja and Ken. Boy, does he have some explaining to do when she finds out he’s one and the same. The fight scenes are intense and descriptive. The love scenes are so hot, they will have you squirming in your seat. The chemistry between Ken and Liz is explosive. Ms. Li introduces us to Ken’s sister and some other characters. I’m hoping she will visit this world again so we can keep up with what’s going on in this paranormal world.
