Aurora Garrwick is in trouble. Nigel Ha’gan is the retired God of Nurture and he is bored and lonely. He meets Aurora when he plucks her out of a burning car after an accident in a freak snowstorm. He is attracted to her immediately but tries to resist. He doesn’t understand his reaction to her because he has not wanted a woman since his wife died 300 years ago.
Aurora and Nigel have wonderful and frequent sexual escapades during the week she stayed with him and the sex was so intense, explosive and energetic that once, a wall in his house crumbled beneath the pressure of their violent mating. As things progress, Nigel grows more attached to Aurora and wants a relationship with her and he cannot understand her reluctance to commit to anything beyond an affair.
God Style Temptation is a delightful book. Ms Crenshaw gives us several glimpses into the mystical world inhabited by her supernatural characters and shows how their interference in the lives of the humans around them has unanticipated consequences. The author narrates a wonderful tale around this couple and provides a most credible conclusion to Aurora’s and Nigel’s love story.
