Oliver Phillip arrives at Horsfall Ranch to conduct a safety audit at the request of owner Bayard Stoddard. Oliver is overwhelmed by the instant attraction he feels at the sight of Bayard. The meeting is cut short when Bayard is informed of possible trouble surrounding his twin brother Marshall. Still distracted by thoughts of Bayard, Oliver becomes lost on a country road. Parked on the side of the road, Oliver notices a black shire horse that has been hobbled. Being an animal lover; Oliver releases him and the horse shifts into a man the very image of Bayard. Oliver quickly takes the semi-unconscious Marshall home to Horsfall.
Horsfall: Tail of Two Brothers is a brilliant romance with hilarious dialog and a marvelous storyline. The very creative Jade Buchanan conveys a short history of the Shire horse breed that I found fascinating. The intimate love scenes are tantalizing, and the story is so full of caring emotions that it liquefies your heart. I was especially intrigued by Marshall, who wanted to share in the love between Bayard and Oliver, but felt himself unworthy. I enjoyed this wonderful saga immensely, and look forward to the next episode.
