Reed is a widowed 45 year old architect with three grown children. For the past two years he’s been sexually and romantically involved with a man 16 years his junior, who happens to be his son’s best friend and his boss’s son! Having lived his life for his family’s happiness, Reed is very reluctant to bring their relationship out into the open. He’s afraid of not only alienating his own children but for Drew and his relationship with his own father, Reed’s boss.

Drew’s football career was benched after a knee injury and his lover, Caleb, left him as he would no longer be in the spotlight. As a result, Drew sank to his lowest point, and it was his dad who helped him get back on track by offering him a job. When he sees Reed at the office, he feels as if he’s meeting him for the first time and is immediately attracted to him. Drew quickly finds himself falling head over heels for Reed and after celebrating the completion of a big job one night late at the office, he’s surprised to find the attraction is more than mutual.

Two years into their relationship, they take a week long vacation together where Reed plans on ending things with Drew. Once Reed finds out that Drew told his sister about them, they get into an argument. Drew can not even think about losing the love of his life and plans on convincing Reed they’re meant to be together. Will Reed break it off with Drew or will he finally choose his own happiness? Will Drew be able to finally close the door on his failed relationship?

Hidden Impact is a fantastic love story of two men who obviously belong together but may not end up that way. Their relationship is a strong and loving one and Reed and Drew are always willing to talk things out and try to work through their problems. Kudos to Adrianna Dane for not only becoming a favorite m/m author of mine but for creating these two terrific characters that complete and balance each other. I enjoyed every page of Hidden Impact and only wish there could have been more. I highly recommend this story to fans of the m/m genre and to any reader looking for a wonderful love story.
