Greta Mason is Supermom. Twelve-year-old Jeff and ten-year-old Zoey are extremely polite and responsible kids. They help with the small aging beach motel Greta runs almost single-handedly. Greta’s father left her the motel and she loves it. She cherishes her dad’s memory. But there’s little time in her life for fun.

Mitch Magruder wants to buy the property, destroy the buildings and build a fancy new resort. He’d also like to get to know Greta better. He remembers her as a preteen and she’s certainly changed a lot.

Mitch is rich, popular and a surfing legend. Greta’s kids adore him at first sight. He gives Zoey and Jeff surfing lessons and tries to woo their mom. He’s not interested in a permanent relationship, but he is intrigued by this hard working beauty.

The main characters are well written and the split of the neighbors in this small Florida town is realistic and believable. Some want progress; a few want the quaint and peaceful past. Greta has to please her neighbors, as well as herself.

This is a great story of a hardworking, strong-willed woman who is just scraping by and a wealthy, very likable playboy. Opposites definitely attract, and Jaci Burton has told a whopping good tale of romance for those beyond their teens and twenties.
