The Delroi have invaded Earth to obtain wives for their people, as there is a shortage of women on their planet. General Torfa has decided that Laney will be his mate.
Laney is very independent and does not like the role women have among the Delroi within the warrior caste. She has always been independent and being a soldier is part and parcel of her very makeup. Neither really trusts the other, but soon learn that they need to join forces if they are to keep the peace between their planets.
The clashes and the sex between General Torfa and Laney are sizzling. The cultural differences make for some very interesting arguments. Ms. Hunt understands military culture, which made Invasion Earth interesting to me. This is an enjoyable story and I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
