Sit Up and Beg is an action-packed story. The author dedicates a good chunk of the story on Killian getting captured and the way Evan helps Killian escape. Whilst that aspect was good, I didn’t find it very interesting, as it didn’t elicit any “on the edge of my seat” kind of feeling. The romance between Killian and Evan went too quick and felt forced, making for an abrupt ending. It didn’t make much sense, despite the author stating the time of their escape and their romance being six months later. Overall, I found the story disjointed and a little bland but even though the action didn’t do much for me – the fact the author chose to start the story that way was a refreshing change.
