During one summer in a gypsy camp, Lady Amanda Cookeson was given into her care a panther statuette, until her true love came along to claim it. What the gypsy told her is that her gypsy prince would be able to identify it upon seeing it. Jon Kenton is that man and Amanda has never forgotten the promise given to her by the gypsy woman.

Jon Kenton, Earl of Wynton, stood on the sidelines while the telling of the future come true for his family by his great-grandmother and found he didn’t want the same thing. Because of his deep hurt, he refuses to accept the fate of true love. His remembrance of Amanda, from years ago, didn’t surface until after he accidentally heard about the statuette.

The Gypsy Legacy: The Earl is the third book in The Gypsy Legacy series, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first two. It was very interesting to learn about Jon’s special abilities with healing herbs, taught to him by his great-grandmother. These two characters are perfect for each other from the beginning, and they are able to over come the past to move on to the future.

Denise Patrick has written of what life could be like from a gypsy’s view point. There is so much talent from the women that went into the designs of each of the rooms in the homes, and the fabrics used were beautifully described. This is a truly happily ever after story told beautifully by Ms. Patrick, and I would love to read more.
