Dr. Lee Porter, a professor of geology returns to his family’s homestead outside of Yellowstone Park, Colorado before beginning his new job. Recurring episodes of black-outs prompted his career change and move. While making an inspection of his property, Lee finds an almost wild-looking naked man sick with fever in the barn. Lee soon discovers the man’s name is Will. They have a mutual magnetism but Will is much more than Lee thinks, which Lee will soon discover.

Wild Thing is book two in the Coyotes of Yellowstone series. Meeting Will opens Lee’s intellect into a realism that he had never thought of before and it is Will that understands what really ails Lee. The creative genius of Lena Austin’s characters continues in this well written, fascinating and humorous installment. This is a splendid story that I enjoyed immensely.
