Tyler’s life is slowly spinning out of control. The former Navy Seal, and now Narcotics Detective, has never played by the book and with an enemy from his past trying to harm his loved ones, things are not about to change.

From the very first page, Mortal Enemies is nonstop action and adventure. The author pulled me into the story with her descriptive abilities and left me wanting to see the many car chases, shoot-outs and the other various action scenes on the big screen. The story is thick with suspense and will leaving you sitting on the edge of your seat. The mystery surrounding Tyler’s past, and the identity of the department’s leak, will keep you reading till the last page.

All the relationships in this story are already very well established, giving the reader a tightly knit family to follow. It is easy to see the love that Tyler and Ryan have for each other. When Tyler’s secrets start coming out, Ryan’s reactions are believable as is his ongoing love for his boyfriend. The bond between Tyler and his partner, Tommy, is one that started in the Seals and continues as they work together in the LAPD.

This story had me laughing and crying and is one of the top ten in my all-time favorites file. I hated to see Mortal Enemies end but was glad when the author let me know that she had more in store for these guys.
