Detective Baxter Alexander and his detective partner are at the courthouse waiting to testify when they are summoned to meet with Assistant District Attorney Cameron Hamilton. Already stressed, Baxter is not looking forward to meeting Cameron alone, the one man Baxter has secretly desired for over a year.

Granite: A Rocky Start is a sweet budding romance story. The storyline gives an overview into the constant pressures involved in law enforcement. Baxter is openly gay if asked. Nevertheless, there is no noticeable indication of his sexuality. Baxter assumed Cameron is straight until Cameron’s angry outburst during their meeting. Cameron announces that he is gay. Expecting trouble from Baxter because of this revelation, Cameron is stunned when Baxter asked for a dinner date. Between their jobs, family and unforeseen events, Baxter and Cameron can only manage a few stolen kisses along with one cherished night of intimacy. G.H. Worth has created an amusing, enjoyable saga.
