Riley is once again spinning out of control and doesn’t understand why.  It isn’t until Colin almost loses the young Eagle shifter that he decides to step in and claim his mate.

Riley’s Regret is the newest book in The Lost Shifters series and this one is a real heartbreaker.  Riley played a prominent role in the last book and at times, I did not always find him to be a very likeable character.  The author, however, did a wonderful job explaining Riley’s behavior, easily clearing up the issues I had with him.  Riley’s condition came across so realistically that those with knowledge of mental health problems will know what is happening right away.  Regardless of Riley’s problems, Colin wastes no time in claiming his mate.  I loved how supportive the older Hawk shifter is of his young mate and only wished he had stepped up earlier.

The author wrapped this story up very well, leaving a small twist at the end, guaranteeing the fans of this series, it will return.
