Even though Dagon has found his mate, the fact that Taylor is not yet eighteen means the wolf must wait before he can claim him.  If Taylor’s mom has her way, however, Dagon may never get the chance to see his mate again.

Dagon’s Ride is the last addition to the Brac Pack series and pairs up the final Santiago brother with his mate.  Taylor is Joshua’s baby brother, so readers will already have an understanding of what the young man has been up against.  Although Dagon’s good intentions soon go to hell, I liked how he tried to give Taylor the chance to come to terms with what becoming mates would mean.  As with the previous couples, Dagon and Taylor have strong chemistry that leads to some intense sex scenes.  They also have their share of problems, especially after finding out that Taylor is part demon.

While Dagon’s Ride also brings back many of the past couples, giving the reader a wonderful glimpse into the growing packs life, it also introduces them to many new characters.  Some of these new individuals will be showing up in one of the many sequels this series has spawned. While it is possible to read Dagon’s Ride on its own, I would like to recommend that those new to this series start the books in order.  Even though there has been the occasional large passage of time between some of the stories, each book flows easily into the next.  This is probably one of the things I enjoyed about the Brac Pack series.  From the beginning of the series, the author brought each character to life and drew the reader into the fantasy world she created.  Fans of the Brac Pack series will be happy to know that more stories will be joining this series and until then, I plan to re-read some of my favorites.
