The moment the stranger fell through the door, Ali knew this was not his spirit mate. The Kalo impersonator quickly realized that Ali was a powerful witch who when infuriated, turned people into barnyard animals.

Ali's Intuition is the second book in the Family of Misfits Series. The slow pace plot is, to some extent, perplexing. I got the impression the Romanian grandmother is human, yet her grandchildren were born a mixed bag of paranormals, the character’s background is vague. Ali is a male witch with very feminine behavior. Ali is called mama by the male shifters he has given refuge to. Moreover, in Kalo’s Romanian culture Ali would be considered the wife in a union. Ali gives the impression of being self-centered. He rejects Kalo before discovering any of the pertinent information regarding their future bonding.  Kalo is a kindhearted unique wolf shifter, who is also the lead singer in a rock band.
Kalo’s mixed breed is the main reason he is rejected by Ali.

However, Ali and Kalo are destined to be mated and no matter how hard they try to resist, the predestined connection cannot be ignored by either man.

Overall, I enjoyed the amusing elements of K-lee Klein’s Ali's Intuition.
