After the fight, Kat runs away from Wolfe and in the process, gets shot by the police. Wolfe saves her life and stays with her to make sure that she would recover completely. When she wakes up in bed with him, they have wild passionate sex. Kat is in heat and she can’t get enough sex. Wolfe is only too happy to satisfy her needs but hours later, after numerous orgasms, he is physically unable to do so and she is frantic to satisfy her lustful cravings.

Nathan, a ruthless werejaguar, and Wolfe have a history together and have always fought like cats and dogs. Nathan has criss-crossed continents to find Kat but what is unclear is whether he wants to help her for himself or if he is looking for revenge against Wolfe. When Wolfe leaves Kat alone for a few minutes, Nathan shows up at her apartment and promises her that he has the stamina to gratify her insatiable appetite and fulfill her compulsion for sex.

Kat has sex with both fabulous looking shifters but does she want to keep them? This book is really funny in parts as Wolfe and Nathan bicker about how best to satisfy Kat sexually and stop her from going insane, a probable fate if she is left unfulfilled.

Here Kitty Kitty is one hot book and a terrific read. Cat Marsters has a great sense of humor. The sex scenes are incredibly erotic and the pace is frenetic. Kat, Wolfe and Nathan are great characters and I look forward to seeing them again at Sundown Investigations.

Determined to make her marriage work, she’s determined to win the love and affection of her new husband. Then she discovers his secret lover, a man every bit as delicious as Kevan. Seeing the two men together angers and arouses her, and more surprisingly, throws her dragon self into her first fiery mating heat. The question is whether Kevan will be able to claim his mate before another male takes her first.

This series just keeps getting better and better and the characters of Kevan, Cal and Melina are perfect together. I loved Kevan’s determination to keep his lover with him at all costs, yet still wanting to protect his people; he gave into the demands of duty and responsibility. His relationship with Cal is passionate, tender and loving, yet both men are forced by circumstances to share…both their love and bodies. When Melina is added to the sexual mix, the tension and desire is only racked up higher, especially when Melina’s sudden heat forces Kevan to fight for his mate and queen.

This reader is eagerly waiting to hear of the next book in this well written, sexy and remarkably original storyline. If you love shapeshifter stories, then give this unique and intriguing series a try. You’ll be glad you did.

Rand believes that Kevan is gay, and the two older men take him to a ‘leather club’ where he meets a half-dressed, sexy male dancer Cal, who will change his life. Initially Cal thinks Kevan is trying to take his job and the misunderstanding almost forces the men apart before anything can start, then there’s Cal’s vicious ex-lover to deal with. Still the two men desire each other with a fierceness that drives them to a night of passion they can never forget. Even after discovering the truth about Kevan’s dragon heritage, Cal is determined to stay with the man he loves, even if doing so puts them at odds with powerful Melgara.

The Dragon Prince takes up twenty-one years after the last book left off, and as much as I enjoyed the others in the series, this book is by far my favorite. I loved seeing Kevan stand up to his mother and take control of his life, even if doing so meant he had to escape to his brother and Rand. Ms. Dafoe also did an excellent job of describing his reactions to Cal and the lust and passion that the other man ignited in the young prince. The scenes with Cal begging for mercy from his brutal ex-lover, and Kevan’s possessive reaction to his new lover’s danger were charged with an emotion nearly palpable off the page.

These two men are perfect for each other both emotionally and physically, and the author’s descriptions of Cal showing Kevan how much he cares for him, while at the same time teaching him to make love to another man are both tender and heart pounding. This book is yet another example of Ms. Dafoe’s ability to write a fast paced, even flowing story with interesting and intriguing characters. I also loved getting to see Darrek and Rand together again. I’d really enjoy seeing more of these secondary characters in the future. Read and enjoy.

Dravidian is the fourth book in Ms. Dafoe’s ongoing Dragon’s Heir series. I admit that I was surprised with the direction of the series with Elara’s desire for the newcomer Dravidian, but I was even more surprised by the attraction between the two men…talk about a plot twist. Yet the unexpected mating of these three highly sexual creatures is perfect. Ms. Dafoe’s expression of Zendar’s confusion regarding his feeling toward Dravidian was vividly described and completely convincing, as was Elara’s to both men. As always the characters are intriguing, the plot flow smooth and the sex sizzling hot. Look for the next book in this series with The Dragon Prince.

This is the third in Ms. Dafoes’ ongoing Dragon’s Heir series and I freely acknowledge that I’m hooked on these fascinating dragon shapeshifter characters and their stories. Ms. Dafoe is a gifted storyteller and writer and each tale in this series just gets better as we find more out about the characters we have come to love. This book in particular is highly emotional as it deals with the lives of Elara, Zendar, Rand and Darrek and what each will do to protect the others. The vivid descriptions of Darrek’s disfigurement and how it affects him is heart-wrenchingly painful, as is Rand’s devotion. These characters almost leap from the pages they are so realistically portrayed…and in my opinion that in itself shows the ability of the author. Look for the next book in this series with Dravidian.

Elara has gotten used to the idea of being a dragon and daughter of the Dragon Queen. What she hadn’t quite gotten her mind around is that she must decide on a mate. That’s because she really doesn’t understand what being a dragon means to her sexuality, or that when she enters khef, or heat, she will mate with whatever male is nearby. She won’t be able to stop herself. In order to protect both Darrek and Rand from tearing each other apart, she flees during the night, only to find herself in the clutches of a rogue dragon, Zendar, exiled by her mother twenty years before.

Dragon’s Heir is the second in Ms. Dafoe’s ongoing series revolving around Elara and her friends and lovers. It’s another fast paced read with great characters, fantastic sex and an interesting plot that I couldn’t stop reading. This book gives us more detail on the culture of dragons and their mating rituals, and the brutality of two males when they are fighting to defend and mate. When Darrek was injured fighting and nearly dies, I wanted to cry. Ms. Dafoe’s uses great skill in pulling her readers into the story which is something I truly appreciate in an author. It also makes me want to read more…which is exactly what I want to do with this well written storyline. Keep up the good work!

Dragon’s Daughter is a light-hearted and fast paced read that I found difficult to put down. The story is well plotted, the characters interesting and when the three get together, it’s fiery hot as a dragon’s flame. I loved the vivid details and descriptions that Ms. Dafoe used to make the world and culture of these magnificent dragons come alive. I also loved how she dealt with the uncertainty that Rand and Darrek faced when they left their world and traveled to the noise, congested and machine-ridden one of Earth. Talk about scary. All three of her characters tugged on the heartstrings, especially those of Darrek and Rand as they struggled to admit their feelings for one another. Feelings that had been left to fester without acknowledgment for many long and painful years.

This book is the first in Ms. Dafoe’s Dragon’s Heir series. It’s a fascinating story, filled with likeable characters and set in an intriguing place. What makes it wonderful is the author’s ability to take a fantasy-like concept and make it totally realistic by using superb storytelling skills and well rounded characters that grow and change as the story progresses. This reader looks forward to the next tale in this well written ongoing tale.

Love Is War is a marvelous collection of love stories. D.J. Manly produced a fabulous image of adversaries turned lovers in each story. The sensuous love scenes and the amusing dialog is fantastic. I enjoyed all four stories immensely.

Snowbound: Snow Angel is one of many books in the Snowbound series from Changeling Press. It’s labeled as a ‘hot flash’ and that is certainly what this storyline will give you. When an angel and a mortal collide on one of the coldest nights of the year, anything can happen. The relationship between Evan and Camille is searing and taboo. It’s unbelievable the things they do to keep each other warm. Readers will find most of the plot revealed in the first few pages. The ending gives the story a whole new twist that leaves you wondering about what’s real and imagined.

B.J. McCall shows her imaginative side in this paranormal short. The unusual bond between the main characters works well. The unexpected ending makes the whole story tie together and leaves you wanting more from this author. Keep this one on your shelf for a quick Sunday read!

When I think all of the secrets in the book have been divulged there are further surprises, with the best one at the end of the story when Doug reveals his trump card. Adriana Kraft pens an entertaining book that readers will not be able to put down.

I was moved to tears for Valentine who believed in love, yet it had always avoided him before Asterius. Claudius could only be pitied for imposing his unhappiness on everyone else. Without revealing more of this tantalizing tale, Valentine is a very impressive read.

The moment Mikhail saw Christina dancing, he was drawn to her. All he has to do now is claim her, and turn her. Unfortunately Christina didn’t seem to appreciate his approach, so Mikhail would have to use a different method of breaking the ice.

Christina had no intention of getting to know the rude man who refused to take no for an answer. No matter how handsome the stranger is, she is just not willing to chance getting her heart broken.

The prey, the hunter and the readers win in Mikhail’s Hunt. There is nothing more exciting than a man who doesn’t give up and Mikhail is that man. He is arrogant at times but it works so well for him. I identified with Christina being cautious of pushy men and I was happy to see her emotionally and physically healed. I enjoyed her confusion with Mikhail, especially when it led to such erotic scenes. Littlejohn has drawn me into passionate world of The Dioni men and I would love to read more about them.

Velvet Need takes place in the universe of The Velvet Glove, which is the galaxy’s premier BDSM club.

Dr. Bertoli Lutrell is one of the best Doms at the Velvet Glove, specializing in what some consider being unusual needs. He’s a tall gaunt, what some even call skeletal, man with short almost white hair and piercing light blue eyes. He was very unhappy when he practiced medicine, but found his happiness in his work at the Glove as he enjoys it immensely.

Dent Farre is a good friend of the Glove’s owner, Hercules and has always considered himself to be a Dom. He’s a rather large man and has always thought working and being successful is more important than being happy. Hercules sees that neither his friend or his subs are happy, so he calls in Bertoli.

Bertoli’s feelings for Dent have grown and he finds himself unable to enjoy anything since Dent left. He admits to himself he has stupidly become fond of his reluctant sub and is thrilled when Dent returns to him. This time Bertoli plans on pushing Dent a little further and Dent can do nothing but respond with his need.

Several weeks after Dent leaves Bertoli is informed he’s been kidnapped and is being held for ransom. When Dent is released he’s being sent directly to Bertoli to not only help tend his physical wounds but his emotional ones as well. Bertoli is consumed with helping the man he has come to love in moving past this terrible ordeal. Will Dent be able to get past this? Will they admit their love for each other? Will Dent ever be able to accept and admit his need for what only Bertoli can provide?

Velvet Need is a terrific story of two men learning to trust each other while building a loving D/s relationship. Sean Michael had me laughing outright at times along with the irrepressible Bertoli and easily had me caring about what happened to both of these characters. The always quick to laugh Bertoli and the always serious Dent are the perfect balance of opposites attracting. Velvet Need is a must read for fans of the BDSM genre and I also highly recommend it to all fans of the m/m genre.

His father-in-law, Colonel Oleg Roussov, is jealous of his popularity. Roussov is director of National Security and his tactics are reminiscent of those of the KGB.

The physical and emotional connection between the two main characters is strong.

Cecile battles her sense of duty to her job and the idea that marriage would mean giving up her freedom and control to live in Sergei’s shadow. His life is filled with duty to his country and extreme patriotism. Is there room for Cecile?

Pretty driver and translator Tania, Cecile’s ex-fiancé Rob, and her friend Paul are interesting supporting characters. John Gordon, Contract Director of the Chemical Division of the Department of Defense, is there to audit her work. His personality seems to change over the course of the story, which was a bit confusing.

Many Russian words and phrases are scattered through the story, but I still got little sense of place. A broken airport escalator was one of the few specific references to the country’s poverty. There were more stylish women and clothing shops than I would have expected.

A fistfight at a fancy reception and Roussov’s truly nasty nature contribute to this erotic romance of foreign affairs. Author Risk has presented an interesting tale of passion and politics.

Roll of the Dice packs a lot of action into a very entertaining story.

Two Masters for Alex is an entertaining and very erotic tale. Alex is pretty and used to using her womanly wiles to get what she wants. Daniel is gorgeous and secure enough in his masculinity to accept his love to be dominated as well as to dominate. Liam is handsome, intelligent and considers himself beyond blessed for having Daniel in his life. The play between the characters was smooth and fluid. I found myself feeling a bit sad for Alex at some parts of the story. She was so scared to give in to her feelings and admit what she truly wanted. I cheered for Daniel when he saw proof of his skills to master. I was proud of Liam for his reaction to an unexpected event. Claire Thompson has written a wonderful D/s story sure to please those who read the genre.

Mating Stone - Amethyst is a wonderful story with humor and sensual love play. Elyssa Edwards displays a very creative talent in this surprise saga. Mark is every woman’s dream man, caring, gorgeous and considerate of Sarah, who thinks about herself as a plain, shy woman. This is a remarkable read that I enjoyed.

The stories are quite enjoyable and romantic and my personal favorite is To Have And To Hold. However the book had numerous spelling and typographical errors which somewhat diminished my enjoyment. This is Book 1 in Mary Winter’s Live Action Heroes series and I’m eagerly awaiting Book 2.

Ingram is besotted with Charm from the beginning and does not realize he will do anything to keep her. As things change on the ship with Bruiser’s crew reaction to her, Ingram has to use his authority to make sure everyone does their job. The time comes for him to trust Charm and he is hoping she will not fail him for the true Master she has had all along.

Ingram’s Charm is a deceiving title and will keep you enjoying the exploits of Charm who learns the true meaning of friendship. When Ingram is expected to take her for payment and then to sell her at an auction house, he is livid that Reli would do this but knows there will be a fight if things are not handled carefully. With Ingram’s obsession of Charm, it is hard for him to focus on the need of the ship but he will do everything possible to keep her. The ending is very explosive and does change your mind about everyone involved.

Sometimes people can’t see the forest for of the trees and that is exactly what happened to Jonathan. Kenya is a strong and beautiful woman with an open mind when it comes to sex. I nearly wanted to bash Jonathan when he failed to see the light bulb in the beginning. I almost felt he didn’t deserve such a wonderful woman because he was taking too long to realize her worth. Kenya is so sassy and surprising there is no way readers won’t love her. Littlejohn united a perfect pair and I would love to read more about their lives together after Jonathan’s Bite of the Apple.

He needs help to reach the frightened child and that help comes from an unexpected individual.

Even though she hates Cougars, Dr. Gabriela “Brie” St. Jerome can’t say no to helping a child. If he can’t change from his cougar form, the child may never return to his human form or recover from the horrible things he witnessed. Being forced to deal with Alejandro’s presence is bitter-sweet. Keeping her secrets and feelings to herself becomes harder with each passing day. The strong attraction could cause the death of everyone involved, if Brie acts on the desire that is consuming her.

Two people are alive but not truly living until they bond over their shared affection for a child. Alej is confused by Brie’s mixed signals. The human side of him is touched , but the Cougar side doubts her skills. Both sides of him crave her touch physically and emotionally. Brie is not afraid that Alej will hurt her, but she is afraid of the longing she experiences because of him. Even if she is able to look past her hatred for all Cougars, she isn’t sure she can risk her life for a romp in the sheets.

Secrets, pain and desire blend together and opposites are not so different after all. The Were-child is the glue that brings the story together and softness to these strong characters in Measure of Healing. I loved watching Alej and Brie find everything that has been missing in their lives and finally accept what they were. I was emotionally drawn to them and enjoyed the way their shells are chipped away little by little. Roth did an excellent job and I look forward to more of her stories.

Curtis is a private man and he doesn’t want the media poking into his past so shortly after she agrees to stay, he approaches Heather with what he thinks is a win-win proposition for the both of them and asks her to marry him. When Heather asks him why, he tells her it’s because of the paparazzi that are always hounding him so he can concentrate on his business and the various projects he has going. Heather finds herself accepting his proposal and is immediately swept up in wedding preparations with Curtis’ mother and photo shoots scheduled by his publicist. Will Curtis learn to open up his heart and accept his feelings for Heather or will he lose her forever?

Her Cinderella Complex is a delightful gem that had me laughing out loud and rooting for these two people to make it. Just when I’d think I had the plot figured out the author, Jenna Bayley-Burke would throw me a curve, which kept me on my toes, and interested in finding out what happened next! The relationship between Heather and Curtis is a welcome and refreshing change from the typical alpha male and the all-too-willing-to-agree female pairings that tend to dominate these types of love stories. This is a fast-paced book that will not only have you smiling but enjoying the hot, steamy and sometime funny love scenes. At no point does the story drag. So do yourself a favor and treat yourself to having a good time while reading Her Cinderella Complex.

Henry is overjoyed to see Trevor, and his feelings are so apparent that it’s as if the sun has come out from behind the clouds. The emotion between them is palpable and when they have sex, the air is so hot it’s like a furnace.

For these three characters, theirs is a different kind of love that others may not understand, but it works for them. Patty is a loving wife who is willing to do anything for her husband. She sees it as her job to keep his emotions in check, because if his sexual orientation were discovered, it would be the end of his career. For Henry, it appears that even though he loves his wife, he is in love with Trevor, who reciprocates his feelings. Trevor does love Patty, but only as an extension of Henry.

I really liked The Things We Do For Love but the ending, while inevitable, left me feeling a bit unsatisfied; however, despite this, the story was a good read.

Hannah is a strong and determined beauty who has graduated with honors from the school of hard knocks. Katsu is a fearless and handsome samurai who is pushed to discover Hannah’s true worth. I enjoyed watching Hannah wear holes in Katsu’s resolve with subtle gestures of love. Samurai Captive was my introduction to Barbara Sheridan, and a must read for those who enjoy multicultural historical erotica incorporated with a touch of suspense and action. Barbara, you should be elated with this fantastic novel!

I rejoice in the fact that Jade was not a virgin and that she and Reed have concerns about unprotected sex. To me, it is important to see characters wrestle with decisions and Reed certainly did. That man wanted Jade in his life, not just his bed. Once he admitted it to himself and began working overtime to make things up to Jade, I was smitten. I loved the passionate intensity of this couple. Lee is the author that drew me into the e-book world and I have been a happy camper since. I have yet to read anything from her that I would not consider a must read.

The very creative Jade Buchanan conveys a short history of the Shire horse breed that I found fascinating. The intimate love scenes are tantalizing, and the story is so full of caring emotions that it liquefies your heart. I was especially intrigued by Marshall, who wanted to share in the love between Bayard and Oliver, but felt himself unworthy. I enjoyed this wonderful saga immensely, and look forward to the next episode.
