Fragment of a Fiery Sun (2.5 Nymphs) is a historical set in 1845 New York. While the story paints a clear picture of what life was like for the poor, the characters seemed to fall flat with little to no real chemistry between any of them.
Kyle has the misfortune of having a friend who thinks she is right about everything. This time, Missy thinks she has just the guy for Kyle. Sam has no idea he is being set up until things go wrong and Kyle storms out. When both men head home for winter break on the same train, they are given a second chance. With the help of Missy and a little bad weather, these two might just see they are perfect for each other.
Some Expected Delay (3 Nymphs) is an enjoyable read by Sean Kennedy. The characters, Kyle and Sam, balance each other out nicely.
Robert is a real estate agent, and still in the closet where his mother is concerned. When she starts bringing up that an old friend, Jamie, is back in town, he has no idea who she is talking about. Determined to get them together his mother plans a garden party. How is he supposed to tell his mother he has no interest in some girl he cannot even remember? Jay is an events planner who has just returned to the area. In need of a place to stay, he ends up meeting Robert. While Robert is attracted from the beginning, his professional ethics will not let him make any kind of move. Once their business dealing is finished however, neither man is willing to wait any longer. What happens when Robert finds out who Jamie really is?
Hot Property (4 Nymphs) defiantly lives up to its name. The chemistry between the two men is clear to see; watch out once they set business aside. There is a definite “Mother Knows Best” to the whole thing.

When he finds out that a mutual friend is planning to set them up, he goes along with the plan. Thirty (3 Nymphs) is a futuristic story by Zahra Owens whose characters lack any real connection in the beginning. As the story progresses, the two men do begin to bond. When they get home, the story unexpectedly changes. Readers who like futuristic stories are sure to like this one
