Thom has loved Kitty since he met her, but he knows she is involved with Devlin.  Thom’s memories of the war, when he had to make life and death choices, haunts him to the point he starts whoring and getting drunk instead of doctoring.  Things change when Devlin and Kitty ask for his help.

The latest book in the Brothers in Arms series, Fight for Love, continues stories of men adjusting to life after war and the men and women who love them.  This is a little different as Devlin survived a different type of life than going to war.  Devlin and Kitty knew each other long before they met Dr. Thom Peters, though they all have quite a few mutual friends.

Several of the ménage families know Thom and want nothing more than his happiness.  As a struggle for the London underground is brewing, things happen that put both Kitty and Thom at risk because of their association with Devlin.  Something Kitty does brings things to a head and gets Sir James involved as well.  I was surprised by the solution Sir James created.

Devlin and Thom are both under the impression Kitty would be better off with the other and their ménage is only temporary.  Ms. Kane does resolutions of these types of relationship very well.  Those familiar with the Brothers in Arms series will not be disappointed with Fight for Love either.  While each story has some of the same elements, the author creates very different and interesting combinations with the men and their woman.

I am looking forward to the next story and hope one day we see one for Sir James.  I recommend that the series be read in order; however, it is not necessary to enjoy each story.

Tim and Ryder try to take things slow with Savannah so she can get the chance to know them.  The men pull Savannah into a dream and end up marking her as theirs, which brings things to a head.  Savannah is denying she is a feline shifter as well.

Lovers of Her Dreams brings two different shifters together with a dream walker.  While Tim and Ryder are lovers, they have been looking forward to making Savannah theirs.  Ryder realizes that Savannah also has to overcome her aversion to being a shifter due to her upbringing.

The chemistry and scenes between the three are very intense, however, one scene between the three gets a little confusing as it is unclear who is actually saying or doing what.   It is also sometimes unclear whether the scene between them is a dream or not, so the reader needs to read carefully.

I was laughing at a few of the antics that Ryder did, especially when he involved Tim and later Savannah.  It reminded me of a big kid sometimes.  The love between the men was so joyful, I almost wondered if Savannah wouldn’t feel sort of like a third wheel, but the way the author wrote the story; it was never awkward between the three.  That seemed a little unrealistic, except for the one time she was forced to confront herself about being a shifter.

Lovers of Her Dreams is a fast paced romance showcasing the love between three people.

Lyrianna steals medicine from a drug overlord, and gives it to missionaries to rightfully distribute it to plague victims on a nearby planet. Police arrive at a showdown between Lyrianna and the drug lord. Lyrianna freely admits she stole them from him to prevent him from gouging prices. The police arrest her after her ‘confession’ and she is sentenced to forty years of hard labour on the penal moon.  On the way there, however, she is selected from the other convicts. She awakes four months later from stasis, on a planet on the other side of the galaxy.

She soon finds herself auctioned off to the highest bidder on the planet of Pagonna.  It is a frontier world, made up mostly of men, and she is to be a sex slave. She is bought by Carter Verdel, a handsome and muscular water-pod farmer. As Carter takes her on the eight hour journey to his island, she finds out that Carter is bisexual and has a partner, Brandon Hunt. Carter and Brandon are very much in love, but miss having sex with a woman. Lyrianna tells Carter that she would consider it rape if they have sex with her without her permission, even if they do own her. But her will is tested as she sees the equally sexy, handsome and athletic Brandon, as she is filled with lust. Slowly Lyrianna falls in love with the perfect little paradise of the island and with Carter and Brandon. But do they see her the same way, or is she just a sex toy that helps with chores? And will Lyrianna’s past catch up with her?

Sold, book 4 of the Wicked Missions series and a stand-alone, is a wonderful story. The characters have fully developed personalities, with wants and desires. I soon fell in love with all three. Pagonna is a richly detailed planet and I also fell in love with Carter and Brandon’s little island. The plot is mostly character driven by misunderstandings and miscommunications and the differing personalities of all three. Lyrianna swears she won’t have sex with the two men that bought her, but within half an hour after seeing the island and Brandon, she has sex with both of them. I was confused by this at first, since Lyrianna wanted no part of the auction, but then I realized that my confusion was also that of Lyrianna’s. She separates love from sex, as does Carter and Brandon, and therein lies trouble.  She desperately wants Carter and Brandon to love her, but their actions don’t always let her believe they do. The idea of being nothing more than a bedroom companion is abhorrent to her, and the reader is taken along for the ride.

The sex scenes are steamy; all are threesomes with some m/m elements. There’s a very sweet sub plot of a young woman that was enslaved and auctioned off with Lyrianna, they are each other’s only friends on the planet.

Although rather predictable, the climax is still riveting and one is left wondering until the last minute exactly what choices Lyrianna, Carter and Brandon will make.

When Miranda Harper’s emotionally abusive husband steps over a line she can’t ignore, she leaves her loveless marriage and moves across the country to start a new life. Moving to Boston gives her the chance for friends, a challenging job and real love but it also means opening her heart and learning to trust again.

Doctors Chase Pruitte and Victor Burns have been lovers since medical school and have even occasionally brought a woman into their bed, but they’ve never found one they could mutually commit to. All that changes when Miranda enters their lives and they realize she’s absolutely perfect for them. All they have to do is convince the deeply wounded woman to give them a chance.

The Perfect Balance is release five in Trina Lane’s Perfect Love series and can easily be read as a standalone.

It’s obvious from the beginning that Miranda has suffered greatly at the hands of her abusive husband and Ms. Lane did a nice job expressing her fear and emotional anguish…her skittish nervousness. Miranda’s a very likable woman and despite her desire for Victor and Chase with her deeply rooted problems, I actually expected her to resist another relationship much longer. But unless I totally missed it, the idea of Miranda needing counseling was glossed over. Not just by Miranda herself but by the two doctors in her life.

Chase and Victor make a great couple and they need Miranda to complete their trio, making them a family. They’re kind, tender, loving, supportive, passionate and willing to give the woman they love whatever time she needs to work through her trust issues. I also appreciated how they slowly introduced Miranda to the physical pleasures her husband had denied her all during their marriage—and their thoughtful actions only made me like them more.

There are a couple of interesting twists regarding the ex-husband near the end that make a big impact on her life so look for those. And don’t forget about the satisfying ending. Read and enjoy.
