Greg’s chance meeting with Ash Tyler at the beach turns into a mutual attraction that evolved into a loving relationship. Ash did not hire Greg to investigate his case but Greg is intrigued enough to do a little research on his own.

Ash was adopted, he had a wonderful life with loving parents, but now as an adult, Ash wonders who his birth parents were. The few clues Greg has managed to gather leads to a mystery Greg is determined to solve. However, the key source of possible information is the missing Jack Smith.

The question is does Jack Smith really exist or is the name fake? Is Jack hiding out somewhere or is he dead?  These are just some of the questions Greg and Ash are beginning to contemplate. 

Because of all of the questions Still Missing instigates, I look forward to the next installment of this enjoyable saga.

Delaney is having dreams again about Jaden, her stepbrother.  Jaden and others are on their way to ask her to help them become human.  What will Delaney give to love Jaden for the rest of her life?

Carnal Sacrifice is an extremely hot story that has a very different legend about how vampires become human.  It involves a very carnal sexual sacrifice where the lady could lose her life during the ceremony.  The problem is that Jaden’s mother, Val, is against it and has a grudge against Delaney.

In an Incan temple where Delaney and Jaden take shelter, Jaden talks with Delaney about what she will go through with five vampires taking her in every possible way.  In addition, she will be representing all the Incan women that were sacrificed in the old days to the god of the temple.  She also learns that there are a lot of vampires waiting to be human, instead of losing themselves to their internal demon when they turn around a thousand years old.

Be prepared for some extremely hot and sexy scenes with various combinations of positions and bondage. I loved the descriptions of the men, and then the women vampires that helped Delaney prepare for the actual ceremony.  There are lots of spiritual aspects to the ceremony.

In the meantime, Val is doing her best to stop the ceremony.  Other characters in the story help Delaney, but she also learns a lot about the history of the women that were sacrificed in the past.  I loved the way the story ended. 

There are a few things that some readers may not like because it would probably be taboo, such as Delaney and Jaden being step-siblings due to Val’s marriage to Delaney’s father.  The idea of having sex with five men on an alter, in addition to being restrained, may also be a trigger for some.  I will be reading this story again.  Carnal Sacrifice is an intense love story between two people that want a life together.

Charlotte was deaf, not dumb, but her father didn’t understand that.  She was a burden he desperately wanted to hand off to a husband.  Charlotte had the choice of picking an ancient husband, an alien husband, or being thrown out of her home. There was only one choice to make.  Maybe on Terran she’d find the Prince Charming that she’d been dreaming of.

Chief Councilor Borgoz had to come up with an alternate plan for the broken bride agreement.  Borgoz promised he’d be able to find Charlotte a mate but he wasn’t certain.  Would the males on his planet accept the sweet and gentle beauty with a disability?  What would he do about the minor problem of wanting Charlotte for himself?

After Charlotte and Borgoz give in to the heat building between them, things get more complicated.  Charlotte wants Borgoz as her husband, but Borgoz has different ideas.  He has reasons that make him the wrong choice for Charlotte; he just has to make her understand.  Keeping his distance from Charlotte is nearly impossible and drives Charlotte to make some life-altering decisions.  

Charlotte and the Alien Ambassador is the fourth installment of the Intergalactic Brides series.  Charlotte is another fortunate woman who finds everything she was missing on Terran.  Life wasn’t kind to Charlotte until she meets Borgoz.  Her family didn’t love her the way she deserved or see the wonderful qualities in her.  All they saw was her deafness.  I was happy that Borgoz saw how special she was right away, even though he kept trying to fix her up with other males.  Borgoz took his work too seriously and he didn’t really understand the bond between men and women until he met Charlotte.  I had to keep that in mind to explain why he was so strict about rules.  Thank goodness Borgoz came around just in time.  Charlotte’s father was a horrible person, and I would have loved him to get what he deserved.  Things weren’t perfect for the couple, but everything worked out as it was meant to be.  I think readers will enjoy this look into anther Terran love story and hope for more.

Tales of Moonspell are previously published novellas about Moonspell and the lives of humans and paranormals within the town.  As each story unfolds, more is learned about the various factions in town.  I loved reading about the werewolves and their mates.

Serenity’s Wish and Their Sinful Seduction have some surprising twists toward the end of the stories that make the men evaluate their feelings toward their mates.  All the couples and ménages have some great chemistry and some very hot scenes.  I look forward to reading more about Moonspell in the future.

The Archivist is the fourth book of the Spectrum Skies series. In this episode, London must contend with attacks carried out by individuals high on drugs while Pascal is being tortured in the underworld by the demon queen. The plot illustrates painful memories, regret, greed and discrimination. 

D. J. Manly has created another enjoyable and intriguing installment to this series. The point I found most interesting is how uncivilized humans compared to the paranormals, deemed themselves privileged and superior to Spectrum residents, who are stronger, as well as have magical powers.

Trying to save a friend, Tyanni gets hit with acid and has been in the hospital for two years.  After her sister has DNA testing done as part of pursuing their genealogy, it is discovered the two have alien DNA. Brex is assigned to Tyanni to bring her home.

The 30^th book of the Terran Times Second Wave series, Perfect, is the start of a five part mini-series within this series.  The world created for this story was interesting and had some humorous moments, especially since Brex thought Tyanni was quiet.  I laughed at Tyanni when she met with the Elders, especially the second time.

I was surprised by how accepting Tyanni was about Brex and his profession, as well as the things she had to learn to survive among the Lrrko.  Once the Lrrko confirmed she had viable eggs to store, she made demands that made the council take notice.  I loved the way the confrontation went, especially since Tyanni showed how strong she was despite being bedridden for two years.

Brex had been worried about Tyanni accepting him. I could understand that as I learned more about the laws and how the Lrrko functioned.  Tyanni and Brex had some great chemistry together.  

One thing that stands out in this series is that each of the Terran women are strong and are willing to ask for what they want.  I am looking forward to the next story as it will be about Tyanni’s sister.

But, critical information of this nature generates a life-threatening environment as the Deputy Director of the FBI soon discovered. Another revelation in the plot relates to the identity of the stalker in the first book of the series, Purrfect Protector.  

Protecting His Asset showcases background on how Shifter Protection Specialists Inc. got started by Scott’s oldest brother, Robert, who works for a powerful top secret agency. Robert found orphaned shifters and brought them home to be part of the McCade family.   

The shifter characters are a unique collection not usually found in shifter stories. It is a stretch of the imagination to think of a velociraptor as a bodyguard for humans. Nevertheless, the velociraptor is one of Scott’s adopted brothers and all of the shifters are very protective of the three human McCade brothers.

George is not the fragile young man he first appears to be. George has an inner strength that belies his small stature, superior intelligence as well as an abundance of integrity.  

SA Welsh’s Protecting His Asset is an entertaining suspenseful story.

Kale Andrews is a fashion model and having admiring fans is not a problem. However, when the fan turns into a deadly stalker, Kale is in need of protection. Hired as a bodyguard, Aleksi is in for a major challenge keeping Kale safe.

Purrfect Protector is the first book in the Shifter Protection Specialists Inc. series. The plot is a thriller mystery with lots of action. Also, there are definitely discrimination issues against shifters amongst some of law enforcement.

The stalker is very creative with his murder attempts and almost succeeds in killing Aleksi and Kale. The main problem Aleksi has is nobody in law enforcement seems to be able to identify the perpetrator. The question is why does the stalker want to kill Kale? The only conclusion I could arrive at is the stalker is a sociopath who enjoys killing. 

SA Welsh has created an impressive saga that I thoroughly enjoyed. I look forward to reading the next book, Protecting His Asset which I suspect will reveal answers regarding Kale’s stalker.

The plot centers on Jack’s dislike of the craziness associated with Halloween. There are some scary moments and a bit of a mystery. Jack is the sheriff of Haven, Montana. A town founded by and for shifters, although there are humans living in the town also. The most important blight in Haven is an old mill that has long since lasted its usefulness. The mill is also a death trap.

On this Halloween, Jack came face to face with the spirits rumored to be haunting the mill. Not only did the experience change Jack’s perspective, several revelations of the past motivated Jack to conquer his fears as well as put together constructive alterations for the benefit of the town.

Daphne’s stained red dress kicks off the most primal sex that either of them has ever had.  Before things go further, they both need to share some information that could make or break their new relationship.  Daphne is at risk of losing her business and her new man, while Anthony is risking the safety of his entire family.  

Now, I understand the importance of having a red dress because of Red Velvet Moon, the third story of the Lucky in Red series.  Daphne and Anthony wasted a lot of time by not acting on their feelings sooner.  It was cute and frustrating at the same time, but I certainly enjoyed the scene when realization hit them both.  And the first date scene at dinner was a page turner that will leave readers gasping for air.  Anthony is my favorite Lobos brother.  I challenge readers to pick this story up and see if he pushes them over the edge as well.

Victoria Talbot has a few secrets of her own that she’s worked hard to keep.  She’s one of the best Dommes around and Sleeping Dog could be a game changer for Victoria, in more ways than one.  Reviving her ruined career as a journalist might actually happen if she proves there are werewolves in town.  Plus, she wants Diego and she knows Diego needs her.

One night together leads to several more as Diego and Victoria realize they are meant for each other.  Discovering that Diego is a shifter is a shock and brings a different problem to their relationship, which could be deadly.  Diego will do anything to keep Victoria by his side, while protecting the secrets of Sleeping Dog.  

Dos Lunas is the second book of the Lucky In Red series, and a wonderful continuing story of the Lobos family.  Diego is a strong shifter with a submissive side that he’s hesitant to explore.  He feels uncomfortable with his need to obey, but Victoria knows how to make him accept his role as a submissive.  Victoria also gets a chance to explore a side of her that has been hidden.  The couple complement each other perfectly and the town is saved.  There is an element of danger that will surprise readers and keep them curious about this small town.  Belinda McBride has created some characters that made me laugh out loud and long for whatever happens next.

Web of Secrets is a new book by author Terry Poole and let me tell you, it will pull you in right from the get go.  First of all the author introduces the readers to two main characters that will have you rooting for them from the beginning.  Nathan is the town’s rich boy, but what the town does not know is that Nathan’s home life is hell.  Kelly was the town’s bad boy, always finding his way into trouble.  When he steps over the line one time to many, his father puts him to work for the family company.  It is at this time, when the two boys are in their teens, that they meet.  The connection is instant and they can’t help but get very close in those first few moments that they are together.   Unfortunately, Nathan’s father walks in and everything goes to hell, fast.

Jump several years into the future and the two boys, now men, find their way back together again.   Now, Nathan is a doctor.  Brilliant and hardworking he is also a little naive, so when his immediate supervisor starts to become aggressive he is clueless.  Years later the advances have become too much and threats are being made.  Nathan hopes the leave of absence he is on will help him figure out what to do. 

Like Nathan, Kelly also made something of himself by becoming a FBI agent.  While on the job however, Kelly is injured and forced to leave the job.  Once again he is working at the family business, this time alongside his sisters and brother.  Going to the home of Nathan’s biological parents, in order to get it and everything inside ready for auction, Kelly is surprised to realize that the man in front of him is the young boy he fell in love with.  The attraction between the two is just as strong now as it was in the past.  While Kelly remembers Nathan though, Nathan has no idea who Kelly was to him.  The author did a good job making the progress of their relationship come across realistically, and I loved watching them on their journey.

The men’s relationship is not the only part of the story.  There is also a mystery woven throughout Web of Secrets that contains many layers.  This part of the story will really have you on the seat of your pants.  I could not believe the way the author wrapped this part of the story up and think other readers will be just as surprised.
