A creative and well paced plot with gorgeous characters that is extremely sexy, heartwarming, and hilarious. Add to that, Alex and Tyler are extremely arousing, erotic to the ultimate plane. Toss in a little magic and interesting creatures and you have a dazzling romance saga too wonderful to let pass. Soul Familiar 1: Lucky Dog is a keeper; I look forward to the next episode.

This short has a little of everything—lust, desire, action, danger and suspense. What more do you need for a quick afternoon read?

During the party, Jory meets Gidget, a costumed tarot card reader who claims Jory is full of blockage and therefore she’s unable to read his cards. Jory just laughs her off as he doesn’t give fortune telling any merit, but when Gidget tells him she’ll help him get what he wants most by casting a spell, he figures it certainly can’t hurt to try.

After Jory and Pierce have some rather hot sex, Gidget tells him the spell went wrong. Shortly thereafter Jory and Jake have a meaningful confrontation and Jory thinks maybe the spell has worked after all. What does it mean and with all this magic being performed what will the consequences be?

Playing with Magic Book 1: Hex on the Ex is an enjoyable and fun read about the beginning of one man’s self discovery with several moments of well written humor. Gabrina Garza has created several fascinating and fun supporting characters I’d like to read more about and even though Jory is a likable character he can be a little frustrating at times. If you’re a Boston Red Sox fan (as I am) or an Indiana Jones fan there is a spicy sex scene in Hex on the Ex you will appreciate! I’m looking forward to the sequel Playing with Magic Book II: Spell from Hell to find out what happens with these characters next.

There was not much to this story and although it centered on the two characters, it left you wanting to end it. I had no problem with the relationship between Krish and Dane, but nothing more to it.

Now that she knows her fiancé has decided not to marry her, it makes their lives a lot less complicated.

The High Priestess was well written and very entertaining about the Hollywood glamour lifestyle. All of the characters had such an important role and they would not have been able to function without each other. This setting was during the Depression Era and the demand was great for films make money. The descriptions of the clothing made you want to see every item on Elaine for each photo shoot she did.

Grey is tormented by a greedy older brother plotting to steal income from the Keep; Grey also suffers from memory loss when his emotions are out of control. Jeremy is strong and compassionate who can calm and balance Grey with a touch. The incomparable team of Mychael Black and Shayne Carmichael continue to present exceptional tales of intense love scenes, a touch of humor, and persuasive schemes. This is another of the fantastic duo’s stories I hope to see more of in the future, very enjoyable.

The blurb on the publisher's website says: "If you loved Salem's Lot you're sure to like When Darkness Falls!" I totally agree. Kat David has gotten herself into something she did not want but she is not the type to bow out. After reading an excerpt from a romance book and finding it lacking she blurts out to a co-worker her real feelings. Now she is challenged to write a steamy sex scene or go out on a fixed blind date. Instead she decides to write a short story that will not go well for her because she thinks it is not good enough. Even her toys can’t give her the relief she needs so she turns to another co-worker, who has had the hots for her, and he does a much better job of satisfying her.

Melting the Ice Queen is a story that got you hot from the very beginning and stayed that way all the way to the ending. Laura Miks has written sex scenes that had me wanting to try each of them in every location described. When Kat realizes that she is no different from the other ladies, it makes her transition from New York to Florida go much easier that she thought it would. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this short quickie and look forward to her next book.

The Guardian is a beautiful and at times poetic love story. Bryan is a truly wonderful and self assured character who is as perfect for Jaden as Jaden is for him. Shayne Carmichael has created a setting with an almost ethereal quality and I came away feeling privileged to have had a look inside. I highly recommend The Guardian not only to fans of the m/m genre, but to any one looking for a first-rate love story.

When the two find a group of orphans deep within the Necromancers' compound, it's going to take everything they both possess to get everyone out alive.

An Angel's Blade is rich in details, from the zombies' wails to the city itself, but where it really shines is the intense attraction between Zahra and Dashtu. Out of bed, they mesh perfectly; complementing each other's fighting skills. In bed, they burn down the house with unbridled passion and need.

Dashtu is a blessedly dark character, not pure and full of white light like one would expect from even a half-angel. He oozes strength and sex appeal, and his devotion, whether he likes it or not, is admirable. Zahra is a breath of fresh air as far as heroines go. She kicks ass, but still has tenderness in her that reminds the reader they're reading a strong woman.

If you're looking for an unusual story full of non-stop action and hot, sensual love scenes, then I highly recommend An Angel's Blade. I give it 4 Nymphs.

Icon is not what you would expect from the title alone and I was a little disappointed because of how long it took to bring the two characters together. After suppressing his feelings for so long and not allowing anyone close to him, in breezes Noci who gets past all those suppressed feelings without his realization of it even happening to him.
