Lord Oliver Marsden has come a long way in a little over a year’s time. With a lover he never dreamt of having and a bookshop he loves, what more could one man ask for? The answer to that question soon comes and while one of Oliver’s greatest fears is put to rest, another comes floating to the surface.

Lord Vincent Prescot couldn’t imagine a life without Oliver by his side. His long time friend and lover is the one person Vincent knows loves him truly. Vincent has shared a great deal with Oliver over the years, but the time has come to take their relationship to a new level. The event makes Vincent aware of his true emotions for Oliver. Will Vincent’s reaction to his revelation create a riff between the two men?

Bound Forever is Ava March’s latest release and the sequel to Bound to Him. Oliver and Vincent are two very likable characters. Their latest story is no different from what most couples of today’s time face, which makes the tale believable. It was quite hard to take sides because there was no right or wrong but a clear misunderstanding and misconception over the events.

Ms. March has written yet another wonderful story. It flows smoothly from beginning to end, and while I love the period for which the story is set it, I have an appreciation for her ability to make the characters flawed and giving them such a real feel. The couple’s genuine love and deep attraction keeps me coming back to their stories. Those who’ve read the previous two stories, in what I call the Bound series, won’t be disappointed.

Angel works hard as one of CeCe’s many assistants so that he can make a good life for himself and his mother. Working for one of the top agents in L.A, he has met and worked with his fair share of celebrities, but none of them have been as much trouble as Brandon.

From the very first page, The Trouble with Angel, the newest book by JM Cartwright will have you laughing. The story centers around two strong-willed men, who have been circling around each other for years. Angel has worked his way out of the barrio and loves the finer things in life. He’s also gay and out, which means the attraction he feels for Brandon makes no sense. Brandon is a gorgeous major league baseball player who finds himself drawn to his agent’s assistant. What Angel does not realize is that Brandon is gay and this leads to some funny moments, especially once Angel is forced to take CeCe’s place when Brandon needs help.

The two men are clearly attracted to each other and this comes through nicely. The chemistry between them heats up the longer they get to know each other. While there are many secondary characters, two play an important role in the men’s lives. Trey and Marisa have lost a lot in their short lives. The grief, anger and confusion they feel as, once again, their lives are torn apart comes through realistically, as does the men’s uncertainty with becoming instant parents. From the steamy sex to the tender moments between the two men and their new charges, The Trouble with Angel is sure to be a keeper for many of the author’s fans.

Tripp Monroe is a photographer for a popular science magazine, covering the Kansas City Steampunk Convention. Tripp doesn’t think much of the fans of the genre, seeing nothing but ‘goggles and bad Victorian clothing’. He runs into the sponsor of the event, Professor Greggor, an eccentric scientist. Greggor insists that Tripp dresses more appropriately and loans him clothing. He also insists that instead of his digital camera, Tripp use a more authentic camera. Tripp thinks taking photographs with it is a good idea so takes him up on the offer. As he takes the camera, Greggor shows him a collection of private objects not on public display, telling Tripp the strange story that Greggor has actually visited a steampunk alternate timeline. A world where the North and the South fought a war of attrition to a standstill, leaving both countries wrecked. The West broke away from both becoming Westland, a monarchy with a tyrannical king. Tripp thinks Greggor is insane until he takes one more picture…

Tripp is hurled into Greggor’s alternate world. He lands on a flying town named Gravestone and meets Emma, the Madame of Gravestone, and its leader. Emma has Tripp imprisoned as a spy for the King, as Gravestone acts as a mobile base for Emma’s gang of Robin Hood-like outlaws. But Tripp has a trick or two up his own sleeve and soon is embroiled in Westland politics and intrigue. Tripp and Emma are attracted to each other as they follow along a twisted path of adventure; rife with zeppelins, clockwork horses, a clockwork army and an evil henchman of the King, who is half mechanical.

If The Madame of Gravestone, the first book in The Corset Chronicles, has a problem, it is that there is not enough of it. It is a story of only 51 pages and is stuffed to the brim. The complaint that ‘there is not enough’ unfortunately applies to nearly everything; the personality of the characters, their relationship, the plot, the fleshing out of the villains- even the intriguing world is given short shrift. Too much good stuff crammed into too small of a space. Nothing really has time to jell. I didn’t feel like I was emotionally attached to the main characters, and didn’t care for them as much as they deserved. The plot didn’t even start to take shape until 3/5ths through the book. The villains were little more than cardboard cutouts and the erotic parts of the story left me lacking.

Which is a shame. The Madame of Gravestone would have been an outstanding book, had it simply been given a chance to develop fully. It was a quick and easy read and fun. An afternoon or an evening by the fire would not feel wasted after this book was read. I felt there was a lot of potential to this story, but it left me wanting much more.

Mark’s Not Gay

Mark has sold his tattoo shop and is planning on running the garage his grandfather left him. Before starting his new life, he decides to spend some time with Loco and Tangee, never expecting that the young man he meets while visiting the den will have him changing his plans once again.

The Brac Pack that Ms Hagen has based her series on is made up of several layers. There is the Alpha (Maverick), the Beta (Kota), the Commander (Hawk), and finally the Sentries, whose duty it is to protect the packs mates at all cost. Each of the stories has left the reader entertained as the wolf chases after his mate. With the exception of a couple of the mates, most have been the submissive partner in the relationship. However, in Mark’s Not Gay, the eleventh story in the Brac Pack series, the author has once again turned things around.
Caden’s and Mark’s relationship starts off with a small hiccup when Caden realizes that Mark is straight. The following scene, in which Caden runs to Maverick for advice, clearly shows just how young and inexperienced the wolf is. The attraction between Mark and Caden is intense, however, and it is not long before the two come together. With Mark introducing his pup to the kinkier side of things, the pages get hot. As the men start their relationship, there are a few tough moments that will leave the reader anxious to see what happens next. .

As always the bored mates, who happen to talk Caden into joining them, are up to no good. I actually felt sorry for them when their cow adventure did not go as well as they hoped. This little outing also brings a lot of problems to the forefront for Caden, resulting in some changes in the pack. As each new novella comes out, the reader is sure to add one more favorite to their keeper pile.

Elaina is frustrated with the fact that none of her ex-boyfriends want to try some BDSM to fulfill her fantasies. She goes to a resort unaware that it is for couples, and ends up being given the choice-either leave or let the owner be her Master for the week she is there.

Paradise of Pleasure is another coming of age story about a young woman trying to explore her sexuality and what she actually wants. Derrick is trying to overcome what he considered a betrayal by his last long-term relationship. Ms. Lane pulls you right into the story and keeps your emotions engaged as you read. There are lessons within this story that are great for those curious about BDSM and the author shows a lot of knowledge about the subject. The chemistry between Derrick and Elaina is hot! Be aware; there is a small ménage scene toward the end. This is one to be read again and should be on every BDSM lover’s bookshelf.

Wizard in training Kevin Santhil woke up in a moment’s panic and then he remembered where he was - in Wolf Alpha James’ bed. The problem was Kevin liked being in James’ bed; now if he could just overcome his fear of commitment.

Kevin's Alpha is the second book in A Wizard's Touch series. The marvelous plot is filled with homicidal exploits, evil wizards, gnomes, humorous dialog as well as fascinating avatars. Kevin is a natural peace lover, overwhelmed by the academic studies he is taking to please his father. Kevin's magical ability did not develop as strongly as his power-hungry father wished. Because of his elf heritage, all Kevin wanted to do was become a healer. He feared his magic was not strong enough to be an Alpha’s mate. Nevertheless, Kevin could not bear to be permanently separated from James.

His wolf wanted to claim Kevin immediately, but James retains control, giving Kevin time to come to terms with bonding for life. Though, the impulse to protect Kevin is always present, James expressed his belief in Kevin by allowing Kevin to make his own decisions while James calmly supported Kevin’s efforts, which helped to improve Kevin’s self-confidence. Kevin and James are a perfect complement to each other’s qualities. Amber Kell has created an exhilarating, well-paced saga with sensuous characters that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Freeing abused men from a sex slave ring is the right thing to do and Austin Lung is more than willing to help when called by his friend Gabriel. What he doesn’t expect is for one of the men, Garreck, to ask to come home with him or for another, Dante, to tag along.

Life hasn’t been easy for Garreck. He’s lived as a slave since a young child and now only wants to be with someone who will make him feel protected. Dante has watched over Garreck for several years and he’s done many reprehensible things to keep the man he loves safe.

Three men who don’t really know each other suddenly living together as mates leads to misunderstandings, pain, hurt and even a few broken promises. If they don’t learn how to communicate with each other, express what they’re feeling and talk about the past, they don’t have a chance at a future together.

Their Dragon is release three in Joyee Flynn’s North American Dragon series and like the previous release, this one is fast paced and action packed. In this one Austin…the dragon…has poor communication skills, which put him and his new mates at odds almost from the beginning. He doesn’t talk, they jump to conclusions and complications arise that could destroy their relationship before it gets started. There are a few creative twists that arise from this and it’s interesting to see Austin try to fix what he messed up…but he does grovel well.

The story is of a rather limited length but both Garreck and Dante just escaped from years of living as sex slaves. There is barely any time before they’d jumped into bed with each other and the mating had taken place and to me, it feels a little rushed but that doesn’t mean it’s not intense and sizzling hot. The personalities of the three are pretty well rounded, especially Dante and Austin, but the author nicely uses Garreck to pull the trio together.

There are a few secondary characters but the best is Kelley, Austin’s right-hand woman and the person who runs the house and takes care of everyone. She’s the best and helps to hold everyone together when things fall apart. She definitely saved the day more than once and is a great personality to add to the ongoing plotline. Read and enjoy. I look forward to the next release in this unique series.

Calvin needs to find a new place to live and fast, but, with his job and all the clubs and pretty boys calling his name, he just can’t find the time. Tom needs a new roommate to help cover costs. All his past roommates have been women but when mutual friends suggest Tom give Cal a try, he decides to call the outgoing young man.

There are many things I enjoyed about Accidentally in Love. It is long enough that the authors are able to flesh out the characters and background story nicely. The premise is one that is sure to be entertaining and the characters are easy to like. Cal is an outgoing player who loves life. His job as a photographer allows him to travel some and of course, there are tons of available men out there just looking for a one night stand. Tom is the total opposite. To start with, at 25 he is still a virgin and he does not do well with people, often coming across as too blunt when, in reality, he is just unsure. Their relationship builds over time, moving from acquaintances to friends and finally lovers. However, their journey is a rocky one and while it would seem as if Cal would be the logical one to have relationship issues it turns out to be Tom, instead. Tom’s feelings of unworthiness lead to some intense problems for the two men. Once the reasons behind his feelings come out, they are completely understandable.

The authors do a wonderful job showcasing the men’s relationship in its various forms. The problems Tom has, as well as Cal’s trying to deal with them, come across realistically. I enjoyed the characters and the background story; however I felt the story moved too slowly. There were times I found myself wanting to skip ahead, hoping the pace would pick up some.

Nick Gorman is riding the wave to stardom, as he tours with rock star singer Marlowe. A talented guitarist, Nick is finally living his dream. Marlowe had already asked Nick to stay with the band through producing the next album, which was scheduled shortly after the end of the tour. However, drugs and a moment of poor judgment can alter dreams into nightmares.
Reverb is a well written poignant romance filled with chaos, consequences of thoughtless actions, as well as a glimpse into the life of a celebrity. The intimacy is especially sensual. The characters are loveable and convincing, while illustrating realistic dilemmas. Marlowe is an emotional cripple on a number of levels. He fears his talent is not worthy of the many accolades received from fans. Taking drugs masked Marlowe’s second guessing of himself, along with his introverted personality. In Marlowe’s mind, drugs permitted him to present the glamorous image everyone expected from a rock star. Spending two years in restrained counseling forces Marlowe to look inward, to uncover the basis of his drug habit and become skilled at coping with sobriety. Obtaining forgiveness from the people he cares about helps in Marlowe’s struggle to get clean and sober.

At first glance Nick appears to be docile. However, beneath that mild facade lies a strong willed, take-charge young man who is determined to conquer any adversity he encounters, including his conflicting emotions regarding Marlowe. Nick wants to hate Marlowe because of the accident, yet he cannot forget their brief intimate time together and how it made him feel. Marlowe has been secretly in love with Nick for years. Nick did not recognize what he was actually feeling was love. It’s fascinating watching Marlowe and Nick tiptoe around each other. Both men are so genuinely heartwarming. Jet Mykles has created an excellent saga that I absolutely enjoyed. The characters draw the reader into their world, and then they take up residence in your heart.

Lydia is chained and blind when she comes to. Joe tells her to cooperate with him if she wants to live and then she hears the crowds. Joe has been a captive for a while and has seen two women killed because he refused to entertain the crowds by using them as instructed by the vampires that captured him.

Deadly Captive was disturbing to me on several different levels. I did have a little issue with the way the book started and even though details about Lydia come out little by little, I wanted to know how she got where she was when she woke up. That being said, this book will bring out very intense emotions as you read the story and will definitely keep your interest.

The chemistry between Lydia and Joe is very hot and you can almost see the Stockholm Syndrome taking hold throughout the book. The author took you right into the cell with them and I could picture the various scenes in my head. Sometimes, I did want to slap Lydia because of her attitude, especially toward the end. The author created some very nasty vampires that seem reminiscent of the experiments done by the Nazis on some of the populace during World War II.

I was so into the ending, hoping for justice, when Ms. Sommerland threw in a gut twister. I would suggest reading this before what should, hopefully, be a sequel in the future.

Months ago, when he broke up with his last boyfriend, Simon Kim never imagined he’d find the love of his life when he ducked into a gallery to get out of the rain. That’s exactly what happened when he met Leith Haas, a man who’s not just an artist but a Warder. A man whose other job is dangerous fighting, but Simon still doesn’t totally understand that as Leith’s hearth…his home, Leith has bared his soul and completely given his heart. During a business seminar when Simon and several of his friends get sucked into Leith’s world…and directly into hell…he comes to realize that the most important thing he can give Leith is the strength of his love. The question is whether it’s enough to get them back home before the portal to the other side is closed forever.

Heart in Hand is the third release in Mary Calmes ongoing The Warder series. While the main characters are new, the ongoing storyline of the Warders and their protective mission isn’t, so I recommend the books be read in order for a better understanding.

Unlike most romances of any genre, it’s unusual for the couple to start out already together, but that’s exactly what happens here. Heart in Hand begins six months after Leith and Simon get together and the start of the relationship is seen in a couple of flashbacks. I wasn’t expecting this beginning but it certainly works for what the author has in mind for the remainder of the story.

I liked Leith and Simon. They make a good couple - each with their own strengths yet each so different - but what I really appreciated was how strong-willed and independent Simon was…to the point that he didn’t want to overburden his lover…his Warder with his own needs. He just can’t seem to completely bare his soul to the man he loves, not realizing that’s exactly what Leith wants and needs. Ms. Calmes has balanced this personal part of the story with the creepy…being sent straight to hell by a demon and she’s done it with great creative flair. Look for the next release in this enjoyable, well-written paranormal series Sinnerman to be released in June.

Lewis is cleaning up after a crooked cop. In order to close out those cases, Lewis has to head back to the Brac Pack so that he can interview Evan. He doesn’t understand his sudden attraction to the handsome man but he knows he has no desire to get involved with another good looking cheat.

Lewis’s Dream is the tenth novella in the Brac Pack series. While the layout of each story is similar, wolf shifter meets mate who must overcome his issues, each story is also different. It is usually the mate that brings the difference to each story and that does not change with this one. Lewis is a total change from the type of mate we are used to seeing. He is older, more mature, has an important job and is just as aggressive as the wolves. While I liked the change, it also had me wondering just how this would affect the mates shenanigans but then again, with the trouble Cecil and the others get into, Maverick and the rest of the shifters need all the help they can get. Things are little different with Evan, as well. His act of aggression against his mate results in a separation. Although Maverick’s punishment for Evan is understandable, given the way Evan behaved, it also had me wondering what kind of trouble this would cause the two men, especially with all the issues Lewis had to overcome. There are some light-hearted moments in this story, such as the scene when Lewis meets Keata in his animal form, that keep it from being too angst driven.
The author continues to pull the reader in with each new novella. The characters are entertaining, giving the reader something to look forward to each week. The fact that the author continues to bring the previous characters into the story gives the series a cohesive feel and makes for some fun reading.

Alexander cannot resist Wil so when Wil suggest they have a night out together, Alexander decides it is time to remove the social barrier and finally step out of the closet.

Crossing The Line is a well written compassionate short story of breaking with family tradition for a chance at love. The intimate scenes are sensual. The characters are believable. Alexander had done his best to follow family tradition and never disappoint. He exhibits the image he thought people wanted him to be as the heir to the extravagant Derekston’s Department Stores. However, this facade has left Alexander a very lonely man. The fear of losing Wil encourages Alexander to start living by his own rules.

Wil is determined he will not become a rich man’s boy toy. Nevertheless, Wil has desired Alexander from the moment they first met. Wil tries to push Alexander out of his double life, hoping they can have an open relationship. Once the two men realize they have the same desire, Alexander and Wil begin to build a life together. Christiane France has created an impressive heartwarming story that I enjoyed immensely.

Since Bree started working at the Red Light Lingerie, she has fantasized about her boss, Max. Max asks Bree to stay and model some new lingerie that a friend has designed. What happens once morning arrives?

Ms. Evans created a very sexy story that will keep your heart pounding. Lust, Lace & Lingerie is steamy to the core. The angst Max has about being attracted to Bree is tinged with guilt over what happened to his late wife. The author portrayed Max’s emotions so clearly.

As the book progressed, you are introduced to Max’s friend, who helped him seduce Bree, and Garrett’s wife, Karen. This book was a little different from other ménage stories, because this was about couples that swing. The questions that Bree had are probably what all of us might ask about our job and relationship. The author brought you into the story emotionally as well as keeping your heart going. This should be on every BDSM and ménage lover’s bookshelf to be read again.

When Lil Lampert visits his friends, Jody and Clark, in Chicago, he doesn’t expect it to change his life but that’s what happens when they spend the day at the annual Taste of Chicago. There he meets handsome Grier Dilorio, a younger man interested in design and architecture. On the surface, tattooed Grier appears to be a typical bad boy but in reality, he’s kind, loving and tenderhearted, especially for Luca, the small son who he’s been forced to deny. With numerous family members against him, it’s up to Lil to support Grier, opening up the possibility to a future together…to being a family, of which, until now, Lil has only dared dream.

Taste is the latest release by author Mickie B. Ashling. It’s a sequel to Horizons and while it has secondary characters previously introduced, it can easily be read as a standalone.

I enjoyed this story from the beginning. I mean who wouldn’t love wandering around a venue where you could taste so many wonderful different foods. It is an inspired choice for Lil and Grier’s meeting and one I’d never read before. The descriptions of the food festival and other sites around Chicago were well described, lending the story a sense of authenticity and depth I appreciated. That same comment applies to later in the story when the plot moves to San Francisco.

Lil and Grier are interesting men and while their relationship starts off more intense than either expected, it’s done in such a manner that it doesn’t feel forced or contrived. I like these two together. They’re tenderhearted, caring, loving and compassionate men but they have Grier’s family baggage getting in the way of their happiness. The surly anti-gay attitude of Grier’s family is well portrayed in this story but much of it…a least his father’s seems more misunderstanding and disappointment than hate. Some might say that their attitudes and the conflicts involving it and Luca are resolved too quickly at the end but I don’t know that I’d agree based on the twists the author used. Yes, I wondered how she was going to get Grier out of his mess but she did it and did it, in my opinion, with believable creative flair. Read and enjoy. I did.

Abe Grissom drifted from place to place for two years, after his medical discharge from the Marines. Home for a visit, Abe is running an errand to the grocery store for his matchmaking mom when he notices the hot guy behind the counter. Renewing his acquaintance with Cameron Norwood has Abe thinking maybe it is time to settle down.

Tell Me Now is a fantastic blend of humor and today’s social gay issues. The well written plot features military, as well as small town bigots who employ homophobic measures to conceal their own fears and cowardice. The characters are believable. Abe gets caught up in circumstances that resulted in physical, along with mental scars. After his discharge, Abe saw himself as broken, not good for anyone. Nevertheless, he could not resist his instant attraction to Cam.

When Cam, who is openly gay, is attacked by a small gang of losers, Abe accidently outs himself. However, the intelligent people did not seem concerned by this revelation. Abe and Cam are well matched in personality. Both men have honest, straight forward point of views, despite the fact that most of Abe’s disclosures are due to a runaway tongue without thinking. The intimate scenes are enticing. Jambrea Jo Jones has created an amazing happy-ever-after short story that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Gilliane is only just now finding out what her true position is in her French home that she’s been mistreated in for some years. Her uncle is her guardian and he needs her to not marry so he can keep all the monies from the property. Gilliane has learned the hard way to stay away from any male showing her attention, lest she suffer for it at her uncle’s hands. Now her uncle has joined the war against England and finds himself looking to English holdings for a more profitable financial gain. He sees an opportunity to marry Gilliane to the main overlord, who has suffered at the uncle’s hands and she is wisked away to England without being told why.

What follows from the time Gilliane reaches English soil is a whirlwind of events she never thought to see and her deepest fears begin to recede with her gaining confidence to handle her new home. One thing she didn’t count on was Adam, who towered over her, but didn’t frighten her at all, because she wanted him. He begins to realize the intelligence in Gilliane and his distrust only hinders their time together.

Adam Lemagne has taken back his holding from a French invader uncle and is taking back another major land holding that he will be adding to his already growing lands. As he enters the keep and finds Gilliane awaiting him inside, and seeing her sitting submissive both surprises and angers him because it’s not what he expects to happen...

Because of their start as enemies, Adam and Gilliane may have a small chance of becoming lovers but will create quite a whirlwind of activities during their travels.

Gilliane is the fourth book in The Roselynde Chronicles series and brings another aspect to how many rulers use their people in pretty much the same way. One thing I did get is how much different cultures treat each other and how the lack of respect leads to hatred and fighting among the families.

After learning about Gilliane’s character, I found myself encouraging her to be the person I thought had been suppressed by the beating from her uncle. Her relationship with Adam is explosive, sensual and loving all together. The two of them really worked well together, and when Adam took Gilliane to his mother, well let’s say that Gilliane truly grew up quickly learning how to please instead of anger him.

Here again I found Ms. Gellis storytelling, spell bounding, suspenseful and creative. I am awaiting the next story and hope that soon there will be peace among the land as well.

George Martin, of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Department, is called to the crime scene of a drag queen found murdered in his dressing room. The investigation leads to other bodies of gay men, who had been dumped in secluded areas. The hunt is on for a serial killer, or killers, operating in several cities close to Daytona Beach.

Drag and Drop is the second book in the Avondale Story series. The story starts out with the murder of a drag queen. However the investigation is only a small portion of the over two hundred pages book. Most of the pages feature George and Mike’s social life, as well as their circle of friends. George and Mike spend a great deal of time in the pursuit of buying real estate, along with getting their friends set up as tenants, wine tasting plus eating out. George has been promoted to Captain, which removes him from the actual field work of investigating. I got the impression that solving crimes is a sidebar in the true storyline of George and Mike’s ordinary daily routine. Intimacy is mentioned but no actual intimacy scenes are illustrated. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of drama usually associated in mysteries. Fans who are fond of sedate stories highlighting life in and around Florida will find Drag and Drop enjoyable.

Kit Bromely might have been born a man but that didn’t mean he felt it was the life he was meant to lead. Uncomfortable growing up male in small town Arkansas, the minute he graduated from high school Kit pushed away all the trapping of being a man and left town. After a lot of work to pay for surgery, Kit arrived in Cattle Valley with newly augmented breasts and the hopes of being accepted for who she was.

After learning he has a son, Gabe Hawkins drives his Harley to Cattle Valley. There he meets Kit at The Gym and is smitten. He quickly sees that she’s more than just a pretty face and he’s intrigued by the sassy blonde with the killer smile. Others might not trust his motives for coming to town but all Gabe asks is to be given a chance. He only hopes that Kit will give him…give them…a chance as well.

Hawk’s Landing is book twenty-three in Carol Lynne’s popular ongoing series, Cattle Valley, and it’s a bit different than her other releases as it contains a transgender storyline.

Kit is an interesting and intense character, determined to walk to the beat of her own drummer, no matter the personal cost. I enjoyed the little snippets of her past but would have loved to learn more of her early life and what formed her into the person she became. As much as I liked Kit, her personality seemed a little flat at times. From the moment Gabe drove into Cattle Valley on his Harley, he intrigued me. Knowing he’d come to meet his son, the child of Bo and Rance, set up a premise I couldn’t wait to read. It was exciting, emotional and put two beloved characters at odds with the new man on the block, BUT the conflict never happened. In fact, this portion of the story, instead of continuing at the forefront, was relegated to the background. It’s disappointing, bearing in mind that’s why Gabe came to town.

Considering why Cattle Valley was founded, I was surprised at the inappropriate/hateful comments/attitudes that Kit dealt with by some of the men in town. I guess I shouldn’t be since people tend to pick on those unlike themselves, but it still bothered me and made me appreciate how loving and protective Gabe was with Kit. The bond between these two is intense and the desire simmering between them is filled with passion and love. I do think that, for a release of this length, the story would have benefited with more plot and less sex. Still, the story is touching, the love between Gabe and Kit easy to see and after the pain Kit lived through to find his one-true-love, it was nice seeing them find their happily-ever-after.

The owner of the art gallery where Liam is employed shares secret information with Liam on the Delaney’s newest money-making project. Liam is more than willing to do anything to prove to the Delaney twins that he’s more than just a good bed-partner for them.

The Art Of The Delaneys is the sequel to Entertaining The Delaneys. The titles are actually part of a series of quick reads, featuring the threesome. The series first episode is The Delaneys And Me.

Delaney twins Mark and Johnny are both attracted to Liam, in fact, I get the impression the twin’s feelings borders on love for Liam. Mark has an aggressive personality, yet he is very protective of Liam. Johnny is quiet and deadly yet shows his seductive nature to Liam. Nevertheless, the Delaneys are local gangsters and have a tough guy image to maintain.

Liam is equally in love with both twins. Liam’s greatest desire is to be in a long term relationship, sharing more than just sex, although the intimacy scenes illustrates sex is a major enjoyment of all three men. Anne Brooke has created another impressive, amusing small piece I found enjoyable.

Megan is kidnapped from Earth by a demon; to become the wife of twins who are the rightful kings of the Faery Realm. Beckett needs her to save his twin, Cian, because he is fading away.

Bound was an intriguing story about refugees from the Faery Realm. A legend about symbiotic twins and their bondmate exists, but most chose not to believe it. The author created a beautiful but deadly world with different planes of existence. Vampires, demons, trolls, brownies, goblins and humans all exist with a lot of the same types of problems we face in our lives.

Once Beckett, Cian and Megan get together on the same page, the chemistry is hot between them. The insecurity that Beckett has about his dominance is a carryover from his childhood and he thinks that Megan is just humoring him when she says that’s what she wants. A lot of us have these types of societal hang-ups and I thought the author did a good job in resolving this issues.

This is the first book in A Faery Story series and I am so looking forward to the next one. The main and secondary characters are very interesting, and I found that Dante reminded me of one of my friends. While there is a lot of suspense, there is also some humor that made me laugh out loud. This book will be read again.
