Greta Mason is Supermom. Twelve-year-old Jeff and ten-year-old Zoey are extremely polite and responsible kids. They help with the small aging beach motel Greta runs almost single-handedly. Greta’s father left her the motel and she loves it. She cherishes her dad’s memory. But there’s little time in her life for fun.

Mitch Magruder wants to buy the property, destroy the buildings and build a fancy new resort. He’d also like to get to know Greta better. He remembers her as a preteen and she’s certainly changed a lot.

Mitch is rich, popular and a surfing legend. Greta’s kids adore him at first sight. He gives Zoey and Jeff surfing lessons and tries to woo their mom. He’s not interested in a permanent relationship, but he is intrigued by this hard working beauty.

The main characters are well written and the split of the neighbors in this small Florida town is realistic and believable. Some want progress; a few want the quaint and peaceful past. Greta has to please her neighbors, as well as herself.

This is a great story of a hardworking, strong-willed woman who is just scraping by and a wealthy, very likable playboy. Opposites definitely attract, and Jaci Burton has told a whopping good tale of romance for those beyond their teens and twenties.

If you belong to the preternatural community in Austin and are in need of legal representation, you want to hire Abigail Merriweather Gooden. She’s not your average Texas lawyer either; she’s also a witch who comes from a prominent society family with lots of old money. Clients might be fooled by her chic offices, male assistant and conservative clothes, but underneath it all she’s powerful enough to protect herself, if provoked. Abby’s life takes a turn she never expects when her mother’s vampire boyfriend, gentlemen’s club owner Jurnik Golub, comes to her for help. He’s being framed for the murder of one of his exotic dancers and since her death occurred during the day, he can’t really use being ‘dead to the world’ as his alibi.

Lucan Math ap Mathonwy Knight, better known as Luc, is a private investigator helping Jurnik find the real killer of his former girlfriend. Luc is a predatory man, descended from shape-shifters on one side of his family and he’s heir of a great Welsh wizard on the other. The man is considered royalty in the preternatural world and he’s a powerful wizard in his own right. Meeting Abby puts the already overly aggressive Alpha into full-blown protective mode, which annoys her so much that she magically throws him through an open door and into the outer office. Nothing Abby can do dissuades this powerful male from claiming the woman he considers his and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe from anyone or anything who threatens her.

The Virtuous Vampire is the first in Ms. Michaels’ series A Gooden and Knight Mystery: Case File #1, and it’s the first book by this talented author that I’ve had the opportunity to read and it won’t be my last. This keeper story is filled with everything needed to make a fantastic paranormal romance. You’ll find murder, betrayal, love, passion, a few good friends, loving family, and lots of blistering hot sex between two magical beings who make each other crazy with irritation and lust. Ms. Michaels has done a wonderful job building a paranormal world operating nearly in the open with everyday humans and she’s done it with snappy dialogue, great characters, both primary and secondary, and with a tightly constructed plotline that zips along at the speed of light. The villain of this piece might not have been as well hidden as I might have liked, but it didn’t hinder my enjoyment of the hunt in any way. Watching as Abby, Luc, Uncle Vidal and her two best friends, gay ex-Special Forces lovers, Daniel and Van, turn predator into prey, was thoroughly entertaining. Take a hint from this very pleased reader, get this book and read it as soon as possible. I, for one, can’t wait to see where this awesome series goes with the Case of the Deadly Séance, coming later this year.

Cassidy Luke is sitting in a bar thinking of ways to confess her lack of accounting skills to her business partner when Kye McClellan walks in and sits beside her. Cassidy could not help but notice how handsome Kye is and after introductions, they began to talk. Learning that Kye is adept in business, Cassidy offers Kye a place to stay for a few days in exchange for teaching her the basics of retail. Ian Tanner is busy making jewelry when Cassidy and Kye arrive at their home-based business Ian and Cassidy share. After a time, the attraction between Cassidy and Kye grows to include Ian; now the challenge is making their ménage relationship work.

Our Man Friday is a wonderful story of three people learning to live and love together. All three have fears of losing the others and being an equal part of the relationship. Claire Thompson did a fantastic job of creating a well-written storyline giving background details of each character so I had a clear picture of their emotional hang-ups. The characters are realistic and the intimate scenes are very erotic. I enjoyed this impressive story immensely.

Everyone at the Settler’s Mine knows Clyde as the takes-no-prisoner bartender but unaware that he is a Wolfton; a secret he has kept from even his closest friends. Clyde’s in heat and not every woman can handle the aggressive sexual needs required to quench his thirst. He travels to his home world for a few days of torrid stimulation, but is shocked to discover his standing date has left him high and dry. He doesn’t encounter the whore he expects but his mate, Angelica.

Angelica is running from her pack. She’s a beta in the bedroom, but an Alpha outside of it. Saddened to think there is no mate who would accept her as who she is, she is surprised when she meets Clyde. He’s the kind of man who commands her like no other has. The danger of returning home is still present, and Clyde has never had a reason to care about battling with his pack, that is until he discovers his link with Angelica. Will Clyde keep running or has he finally found a reason to fight?

Settler's Mine 4: The Wolf brings us Clyde’s story and takes us on his journey to finally find his life companion. Wolfton’s aren’t like the miners, and no stone is necessary to find their mate. I think they actually have more fun discovering theirs, thanks to the fact that it’s not instantly apparent. You get a glimpse of Clyde’s compassionate side in this installment, and meet the feisty woman who calms him from paw to heart. Ms. Armstrong brings us action and sex hot enough to bordering on illegally erotic. It was hard to pick a favorite part, but I’ll have to admit my favorite part was the fight with the local Alpha.

Rosa Bella is the talented lead vocal artist at the Black Panther Lounge, singing nightly to standing-room-only crowds. As a vampire who blends in with human society, she leads a fairly boring life, made up of work and a few close friends. All that changes when she catches the attention of Vane, the gorgeous Watcher assigned to hunt down and eliminate Rogues, preying on humans and civilian vampires walking the nearby downtown streets. After the near death of her best friend, her boss forces her take a week off and it’s during this time that her life spirals out of control. Unbeknownst to Rosa, she has a stalker, a stranger who has been sending her flowers, and if she isn’t careful, her jealousy of Vane’s past will drive her right into the arms of danger.

When Vane sets his eyes on Rosa for the first time, he thinks she’s the most beautiful vampire or human female he’s ever seen. The longer he knows her, the more he’s attracted to her. He can’t think of any other woman, and his desire for other females becomes virtually non-existent. Unfortunately, his Latin Lover reputation is more than a little unsettling for Rosa, who doesn’t understand why he would desire her, a boring and uninteresting woman. As a Watcher, Vane has dedicated him life to fighting Rogues and doesn’t know if he has the right to form an attachment to Rosa…a woman who only deserves the best. Things only get more complicated when Rosa is kidnapped during the Louisville, Kentucky fireworks show, and Vane and his fellow Watchers must not only find and defeat the Rogues, but locate Rosa before she’s turned into something evil.

Midnight Rose is the second installment in D. McEntire’s ongoing The Watcher’s series and it’s fraught with just as much danger and action as the first release. This fast-paced story is full of uncertainty, misunderstanding, danger, fear and love, along with a hope for the future together that neither Rosa nor Vane seems to think they deserve. D. McEntire does a nice job describing Rosa’s unsettled emotions. Rosa’s self-doubt is understandable to a point but seemed a little excessive to me, even though Vane had a reputation as a ‘player’, a ladies man. It was as if he could be trusted to keep her physically safe but emotionally, he'd hurt her by breaking her heart.

Vane is a dedicated warrior, putting the needs of others ahead of his own desires, just like his brother-in-arms. I have to admit that Rosa and her continuing doubt of Vane’s sincerity, started to annoy me after a while. I wanted to shout, will you please get a clue and stop acting like an idiot.

The secondary characters are just as important in this release as the last, and D. McEntire does a great job expressing the love and affection between them. Once again the Watchers add depth and spice, and this reader is curious to see where this intriguing plotline goes with the next release, which I believe is Midnight Revelations.

Sebastian Cane remains at his plantation after his lover, Pieter Van Leyden, travels north to support the abolitionist cause during the start of the Civil War. Understanding the sentiments that drove Pieter, Sebastian agreed with him but felt it was his duty to stay and protect his slaves. Joss, ex-slave to Sebastian and former lover to Pieter, also made his way to New York where he joined the first all-black Union troops, a unit of soldiers that was under the command of Pieter, who had earned the rank of Captain. After a passing of time, Sebastian was forced to join the Confederate army, a decision that leads to years spent in a northern prison. Through all the turmoil of war, one thought remains constant with Sebastian and Pieter and that is the love they share, even when apart.

Conflict is the sequel to Cane. Stevie Woods continues the story of Pieter, Sebastian and Joss in this powerful sequel highlighting the historical events of the Civil War and presenting the intricate views of both sides, mainly the fact that many failed to distinguish slaves as people rather than property. Conflict is an excellent illustration of social attitudes and how lives were devastated fighting for their beliefs. My thanks to Stevie Woods; I enjoyed this historical journey immensely.

Tolliver took over the care of his sister and their bookstore at the tender age of eighteen. No time to be a kid, he was thrown squarely into the life of a man, as the sole supporter. He has never taken the time to do something just for himself. Each move has been in the hopes of supplying his sister with opportunities he didn’t have himself. Noble has a secret that could affect their relationship and threaten to end it before it can truly begin. Will Tolliver listen to his heart or his mind?

Willa Okati has a fascinating way of developing her characters and plots. The setting for this book is a peaceful town. Noble has lived with his gift since birth, and hasn’t met very many who understand him. He sees in Tolliver a future, a partner, a soul-mate, and he’s not willing to just let that go. When they rescue Tatiana from thieves in a dark alley late one evening, neither of them have any idea how their future would change or the love that would overwhelm each of them. The men are planning to help “relieve” her of a husband she did not want and enjoy her pleasures together.

Princess Tatiana longs for a life of being cherished and loved but has only receive hatred and violence from her vicious husband, because of her hold over him with their finances. Now that she knows what it feels like to be loved by two very handsome men, there is nothing she will not do to have them any time she wants.

A Royal Dilemma is set in St. Petersburg, Russia, and it’s a beautiful and touching love story involving three people, and truthfully it was hard for me to believe it would last. These men are willing to let their reputations go as rogues, in order to have Tatiana for themselves, and there is no jealousy between the men for her affections. Robin Gideon has captured my attention with these love birds and their scandalous acts in public. The sex is incredibly described in each scene, and the men bring out the true person in Tatiana. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the Royal Desires series!

Raven is a bloodkind with a plan to bring down the old Sanguine leaders and start a new lifestyle. Caught up in inescapable passion, Darce joins Raven on his quest.

Breathe 1: Sanguine Shadows is a sexy vampire saga. Darce, accustomed to his solitude, did not see the danger headed his way until he was assigned the care and sexual feeding of the mouthy Raven, who enjoys topping from the bottom. Raven has a plan and the intelligence to carry it through. Willa Okati has created a superb and sexy beginning to this vampire series that I thoroughly enjoyed and look forward to the next episode.

The feelings they have for Jia-Nian, and her for them, will change their reality into something of legend. Daisy Dexter Dobbs delivers a tale of love, lust, violence and retribution set in a period of magic and magical beings. And someone slips the same information into Aaron’s briefcase. Each is terrified. They each slipped the adoption agency an extra $5,000 to speed the process. Will they be jailed? And what would they ever do without the precious child?

Aaron is afraid to confide in Laura. He’s ashamed of his own bad behavior and still loves her. Laura’s fears are similar. The child means everything to her and she still has feelings for her husband, despite his foolish and hurtful affair.

When they each discover the secrets, they consider hiding out in Canada. Friends and relatives become involved in the effort to reveal a sinister adoption ring. Amie’s other parents have political aspirations and the child’s welfare is a real concern. Laura and Aaron face physical dangers as Black Angel and his bosses try to keep them from revealing their lucrative actions.

This is a truly engrossing tale for anyone who has ever wondered about the stories behind those faces on the milk cartons. Author Karnopp does a great job revealing the stress of a couple unable to conceive. Her characters are all well developed and understandable, even the supporting cast. The story tugs at your heartstrings, without being saccharine or maudlin. I enjoyed it.

Garrick Forrester is the second oldest of his ancient race and he has lived through war, death, plague and two disastrous arranged marriages. He has longed for his true mate for as long as he can remember, and when he finds her in the village near his home at Danford Manor, he’s thrilled and ready to claim her. Garrick’s experienced many things in his long life but he’s totally unprepared for the fear and resistance of the woman meant to be his forever, Aisley, the village healer. With many enemies in his life, Garrick is determined to keep his mate safe from harm even if that means putting her under constant guard.

Aisley has lived in the shadow of Danford Manor her entire life and learned many things of it’s people from her father, who was the former physician to Earl Forrester. She didn’t however know anything about him personally, so is scared nearly witless when he arrives in her village determined to make her his betrothed by the end of the next fortnight. While the villagers need her skill as a healer, some fear her red hair and freckles, a sure sign of Satan, and whisper she’s a witch. Despite her instant attraction to Garrick, and her unsettling ability to hear his thoughts, she feels the need to stay away from the dark and brooding man. So, when the time comes when her survival depends on Garrick’s gift, Aisley must decide to trust him and her heart.

Seductive Persuasion is the first release in Ms. Stockton’s historical paranormal romance series revolving around the men and woman of the ancient Abcynian race that have hidden amongst mankind for centuries. This one takes place in England, during the reign of Henry VI, in the year 1453 and it’s fraught with desire, passion, fear and danger and has an evil villain, perfect for hating. The numerous secondary characters play important roles to the plot, giving support, depth and a sense of family and history. Ms. Stockton does a nice job of interjecting facts about the current era and the Abcynian race without it feeling boring, stiff or like an overwhelming information dump.

Aisley is a sweet and caring woman, a healer concerned for the health and welfare of others, which makes her perfect as the wife of the Earl. She can still care and guide the lives of those who need her, while still using her healing skills. In this description, Ms. Stockton did an excellent job, because Aisley is a woman ahead of her time, even if she lives under the threat of being called a witch. There were times though that her reluctance to accept Garrick, and the life he offers her as his wife and mate, that were just downright annoying. These scenes might have played out a little long, and made her appear pig-headed and more head-strong than was needed for a woman living in medieval England.

Garrick started off as a little scary and heavy-handed, but finding his mate not only softens his attitude but makes him a kinder, more caring man. The scenes with Garrick were actually my favorites and Ms. Stockton does a wonderful job making him a man of his time…dark, brooding, dedicated to the care of his people and determined to keep of those considered his safe from harm. And this guy was nearly a saint in giving Aisley the time she needed to come to grips with their relationship, when all he wanted to do was claim his mate. Not to mention him having to skirt around the little issue of being able to change into a black panther, which in that time, would have been considered Satanic.

This first release lays a good, solid foundation for more books following the long-lived members of the Abcynian race and those members able to change into a panther, lion or tiger. I anxiously wait to see where this intriguing series is going with the next release, Rhiannon’s Pride.

Vampire Trev has lived for over three hundred years, witnessing and then participating in space travel. His current assignment is aboard a long-haul exploration ship, Lightning Girl. Not one to make assumptions, he’s noticed one of his crew members, Ash, throwing signals of interest his way. They share one night of exploration and awaken as the only survivors aboard Lightning Girl. The two are working together to get back on course, but ship complications threaten to kill Ash before anything a resolution can be found. Trev won’t make the decision for him, but the men know there is only one choice if Ash wants to survive.

Elizabeth Jewell writes about endurance and a budding relationship in Crimson Star. Trev is both brilliant and sexy, and while he has lived longer than most, he has tried not to encroach on another’s humanity. Ash has no hang-ups with Trev being a vampire; in fact he thinks Mr. Fangs is fabulous and just what his libido needs during this trip. The men hit it off and have a balanced chemistry. The way this story ended tells me the couple is on the edge of discovery. I found Crimson Star to be an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next for this crew of two.

Keith O’Leary has been trying to break into television, but he hasn’t had even a nibble in nearly six months. According to his agent, it seems he’s just too pretty and no one wants him. That is until he’s offered a once in a lifetime job as the new male heartthrob on cable’s most popular and hottest drama, Forever Young. The only problem is that the new part calls for all of his acting skill because it requires he play a gay man, and he’s straight, with a live-in girlfriend and all. At least he thinks he’s totally straight until the first time he kisses his co-star Carl Bronson on camera, and it nearly curls his toes.

Carl Bronson has been acting on the cable drama, Forever Young, for a year. This season his character is given a new focus with the addition of a love interest for the first time, except it’s a gay love interest. He’s dedicated to his craft and a consummate professional; he just never expected to need all his skills to make his part believable, since he’s straight. That is until he sees his new male co-star and finds he’s attracted to Keith…then they kiss for the first time and he’s hooked. The on-screen chemistry between them is blistering and it’s not long before it overflows into their private life as well, when they admit their mutual attraction. Their love is new and strong, but it not long before they’re threatened with exposure, endangering the future of their acting careers.

Acting Naughty is the first release in G.A Hauser’s new Action! series and this one revolves around two ‘straight’ men who fall in love. Ms. Hauser did a nice job in expressing the fear, uncertainty and confusion both Keith and Carl feel for their new and unexpected feelings. The on-screen love scenes between them are so hot and emotionally overwhelming that they both soon begin to wonder what is going on. Each wonders how he can be sexually attracted to another man, but neither can’t deny their interest either and they soon overcome their reservations, becoming lovers in reality. It was easy to see, early on, that Keith really wasn’t committed to his girlfriend, Patty; after all they acted more like brother/sister or friends with benefits, than lovers. Ms. Hauser’s description of Keith and Carl’s first time together as lovers is hot, but it is also tender, loving, and caring. Carl has much to lose from a relationship with Keith than the other way around. He is older and established in his career, but he’s still willing to risk exposure to be with the man he loves. Ms. Hauser did a great job in describing the conflict between Keith and his parents, especially the restaurant scene where it was shown the homophobic leanings of his father.

Storm Lord Aeral has lived with centuries of loneliness in his mountain fortress. Thanks to his brother, the Sea Lord, and his brother’s lover, Storm is paying for a crime he is not solely responsible of committing. For centuries, women from the village under his domain are sent as Chosen ones to make amends to the God in hopes of saving their village from plague. Unfortunately, none of them has ever wanted him, his company or their position as the Chosen one; that is until they sent the chieftain’s daughter Aideyn. Aideyn has a heart of gold and enough compassion to fill the world. And, while her first reaction to being selected was one of dread and sadness, it soon changed to something more. She is capable of righting a few wrongs and adds a measure of peace and happiness to Aeral’s miserable existence.

Charlotte Boyett-Compo has written a story filled with passion and discovery in Kiss of the Wind. The characters, from the gods to the mortals, have a real feeling and draw you into the story. Aideyn has a giving spirit that creates joy wherever she goes. There is one scene where she interacts with one who has never known a caring hand and that cemented her as one of my favorite characters. This is a story you don’t want to miss. Wonderfully detailed in the scenery, fantastic characters, moments of wit, loving honey-coated erotic encounters and messages in trust and forgiveness are all included in Kiss of the Wind. This is one story you don’t want to miss.

Lovemore Kendo finally arrives at Hilo, Hawaii after inter-island flight delays. He has come all the way from Los Angeles to meet his on-line dream man Makaio, with hopes of them sharing a life together. But when Makaio does not arrive at the airport or answer the phone, Lovemore calls his sister, who pulls the tarot card Eight of Swords. Lovemore is now regretting not getting the offered reading before his trip, because the outcome of his desires is looking very bleak.

Island Bois is a love story of how fate can lend a hand in directing us to the right path. Lovemore is a man seeking the happiness of a relationship with his soul mate, only to discover that the mate he thought he had found was only an illusion. His decision to move past his disappointment opened his heart to receive love from an unexpected source and to meet Kimo and Lopaka Wilder from Phantom Lover. A.J. Llewellyn has the amazing ability to create realistic characters that I want to hug during the heartbreaking moments. The plot includes interesting tidbits of Japanese cultural traditions and the love scenes are as hot as a volcanic eruption. Island Bois is another enjoyable installment in the Phantom Lover series.

Officer Rick Miles is on a mission to give the area’s newest drug pin, Gareth “Hairy” Carey, the boot. The fact that he’s gay helps him infiltrate the inner circle, and his fighting abilities cement his new job. Now, if only Rick could keep his mind off Carey’s toy, Billy Rose. Rick wasn’t prepared when he laid eyes on the too beautiful man, and discovering that Billy protects a secret that could get him killed makes him harder to ignore. Billy comes with his own secrets and agenda for Carey. Rick is an above board cop who doesn’t believe in turning a blind eye. Will these two men be able to find happiness?

Connie Bailey’s Miles to Go is a fast-pace suspense police story. Rick is sexy, smart and has a lethal tongue that could lead him to trouble, but somehow he always finds a way to land on his feet. Just when I thought I couldn’t find a character who could make me hurt for their past, I found Billy. I don’t know how he survived and remained sane and intact, but there had to be an angel looking over his shoulder through it all. There was just enough action in this story to keep everything on an even kilter. The chemistry between Rick and Billy starts with a bang, and only heats up from there. Ms. Bailey even throws a twist you may not be looking for, but this reader felt it made the story that much more interesting. If you have a cop fetish, you will enjoy Miles to Go.

Weatherman Grant is tired of everyone he meets being more interested in his co-worker than him. After his date calls out the wrong name during an intimate moment, Grant decides to try computer dating. While his matches all turn out to be duds, the waiter may be just what he ordered. Stormy Weather by Chrissy Munder (4 Nymphs) is a hilarious look at computer dating. This enjoyable read will have you chuckling more than once. Who knew ordering an edamame salad could be such an experience?

While in the hospital recovering from severe injuries, Jeremy is dumped by his boyfriend. Several months later, with what would have been their one-year anniversary approaching, Jeremy is still having trouble coping. His friend and physical therapist thinks her brother Rick, a local cop, may just be what Jeremy needs. Now she just has to get them together. Maria Albert does an excellent job bringing together these two men, both of whom are struggling in their own ways because of being gay. Score Two for the Good Guys (4 Nymphs) is a tender story that will stay with you.

Accused of a crime he did not commit, Kelan Finnian is exiled to America. After a long and difficult journey, he arrives in New York only to have what little money he has stolen by pickpockets. Toby Lewis runs the Golden Guild, one of New York’s many gangs. The last thing he expects any of his gang to do is bring home a new member. M Jules Aedin’s Fragment of a Fiery Sun (2.5 Nymphs) is a historical set in 1845 New York. While the story paints a clear picture of what life was like for the poor, the characters seemed to fall flat with little to no real chemistry between any of them.

Kyle has the misfortune of having a friend who thinks she is right about everything. This time, Missy thinks she has just the guy for Kyle. Sam has no idea he is being set up until things go wrong and Kyle storms out. When both men head home for winter break on the same train, they are given a second chance. With the help of Missy and a little bad weather, these two might just see they are perfect for each other. Some Expected Delay (3 Nymphs) is an enjoyable read by Sean Kennedy. The characters, Kyle and Sam, balance each other out nicely.

Robert is a real estate agent, and still in the closet where his mother is concerned. When she starts bringing up that an old friend, Jamie, is back in town, he has no idea who she is talking about. Determined to get them together his mother plans a garden party. How is he supposed to tell his mother he has no interest in some girl he cannot even remember? Jay is an events planner who has just returned to the area. In need of a place to stay, he ends up meeting Robert. While Robert is attracted from the beginning, his professional ethics will not let him make any kind of move. Once their business dealing is finished however, neither man is willing to wait any longer. What happens when Robert finds out who Jamie really is? Hot Property (4 Nymphs) defiantly lives up to its name. The chemistry between the two men is clear to see; watch out once they set business aside. There is a definite “Mother Knows Best” to the whole thing.

Jerry is ready for a vacation. Planning on going on a cruise with some friends, he has no idea he is being set up. Dale has been interested in Jerry for some time. When he finds out that a mutual friend is planning to set them up, he goes along with the plan. Now everyone just has to make sure Jerry does not find out or this could end up being the cruise from hell. Waves of Love (4.5 Nymphs) is different from the other stories in this book, as John Simpson has written it from the point of view of the matchmaker. This is a story about more than just finding the love of your life but also the deep love between friends.

Mallick, having turned thirty, will be leaving his job as a Facilitator and meet his chosen mate. Varr is a Matchmaker who has been watching Mallick from afar waiting for the time they can be together. Both men are nervous about their upcoming meeting and the affects it will have on their lives. The next year will be a telling one as they take the time to learn about each other. Thirty (3 Nymphs) is a futuristic story by Zahra Owens whose characters lack any real connection in the beginning. As the story progresses, the two men do begin to bond. When they get home, the story unexpectedly changes. Readers who like futuristic stories are sure to like this one

While some stories were better than others, Make Me a Match Vol. 2 is the perfect book to have on hand for when you want a quick read. Whether straight or gay, any one who has been on a blind date or set up will find something familiar within these stories.

Attorney Preston Reynolds is finding it difficult to conduct business with a client while his wall is vibrating from the loud rock music blasting from the office next door. His partner and best friend’s younger brother Scott has joined the firm to do the accounting and investigations. Preston has secretly desired openly gay Scott for years but denied he could be gay or bisexual, until one night in the office; he could not resist kissing Scott.

At Long Last is a beautiful story of coming to terms with life. For six years Scott has fantasized about sharing a life with Preston, but never expected it to happen. Preston could not resist Scott and the more time they spent together, he realized he wanted to keep Scott in his life, but Scott refused to have a secret relationship. The only option for Preston now is to face his fears or lose the man he loved. Shawn Lane produced a marvelous story of two men dealing with life changing issues in this well written storyline with expressively realistic characters and very sensual love scenes. I vastly enjoyed At Long Last.

James has lived most of his life catering to the wishes of others. With college over and a father pushing him to join the family business, he decides to tour Australia before he settles into his new career. The happiest time of his life was on his grandfather’s farm in Kansas. If he could have any wish, it would be to work in that capacity again. He’s about to meet Lochlan, his fairy godfather.

Lochlan has worked alone on his farm since his father passed away. After returning to Mandarra, he put his desire for men on hold, and tried to focus on keeping his farm afloat. Fear of losing his friends and their respect were ample reasons to keep that part of his life a secret. However, when Lochlan meets James he knows he’s attracted to the younger man. Who knew it could be mutual and cause emotions lasting enough to rethink what’s really important? He doesn’t want to lose the first man he’s ever loved.

Harvest Heat takes us to Australia where we meet Lochlan and his group of friends. Lochlan is a hardworking man who is fair, loyal, and knows how to treat the ones he loves. James has finally found a reason to fight the influence of his father. Thanks to Lochlan, he knows regardless of what others may do, say, or think he will always find love with the strapping farmer. There was a great deal going on in the story that has me hopeful of at least two more stories coming our way. Carol Lynne proves you can find love, even in the dry heat on an Australian farm.

Lady Fortuna Morley has made a sound plan for herself and her cousin, to be spinsters for the rest of their lives, living alone. This plan develops a lot of holes in it when her cousin becomes infatuated with Charles’ friend and they end up engaged. Now Fortuna wants to run away and lick her wounds without anyone knowing what her true feelings are for him.

Charles Lowden, Marquess of Grandville has come of age, and he needs to fulfill his family obligations of finding a wife and filling his nursery with children so he can get on with his life. The only problem is that he can’t seem to show any warmth toward others that is until he comes upon Lady Fortuna, who shows him her contempt. When he realizes that she has given him every reason to live, there is nothing he won’t do to have her at his side forever.

Blind Fortune is a fabulous story set in England in the early eighteen hundreds and I really enjoyed reading every page. I was very impressed by the fact that Fortune’s blindness never stopped her from trying to carry on with a somewhat normal life. Her family would not accept her efforts to not be a burden on them and treated her as an invalid. Some of the characters had me wondering about their true motives, one being the cousin who was mostly nasty to Fortune and her uncle who wanted Charles for his youngest daughter because of the station it would elevate him to.

I was laughing, angry and overheated at one time or another by the actions of the ton and what others were doing that was not approved by the ton, and Fortune, who tried so hard to be like everyone else. Because of the high standards of English socialites any little thing that is not approved by them is scandalous at best. Joanna Waugh has done a wonderful job of writing about true love taking precedence over arranged marriages and overcoming all adversities presented to them.

Government Project Dawn has been disbanded for three years and Zack and Ace, along with the other remaining members of Circe’s Recruits, are still fighting to clean up the mess left in its wake. Pearson Labs continues to create more of the genetically altered Circe’s, none of who are sane, unlike Zack, Ace and their friends. The scientists at Pearson are determined to not only explain why their creations are insane, but why the others aren’t. To that end, they are willing to do whatever it takes to find answers, and if that means they need to capture members of Zack’s groups…well then, so be it.

Being a Circe means only being able to attain sexual fulfillment during their mating heat by sexual intimacy with another Circe, whether male or female. During these heats, Zack and Ace have turned to each other, but it hasn’t been easy on Ace, who has multiple homophobic leanings, due to his upbringing. It’s taken years for him to accept his feeling for his friend. Just when they’re getting their relationship on a solid footing, they find that Kelly, the woman they’ve both been lusting after for years, is also a Circe. Zack and Ace are finally able to claim their woman but hurt feelings and wounded pride get in the way, endangering not only their threesome relationship, but Kelly’s life as well. The two men must come to terms with their differences or risk losing everything they value most…Kelly and each other.

Circe’s Recruits: Zack and Ace is the second release in Marie Harte’s new and ongoing series. It’s a fast-paced tale with a unique and interesting plot that kept my interest from the first page to the last. The bad guys and their minions are just as dastardly and unsavory as before, still striving to find a way for their Circe’s to gain the upper hand and woe to the people who get in their way. That mindset means kidnapping, torture and scientific experimentation to the sane Circe’s they can get their hands on.

That being said, this story is fueled by the growing relationship of Zack and Ace, and Ms. Harte does an excellent job of describing the swirling emotions of both men. The level of intimacy between our guys is filled with lust and an underlying tenderness, unexpected of two such burly, aggressive men. Add Kelly into the mix and you have blistering hot passion that requires a fan to cool. Changing Kelly into a Circe wasn’t a totally unexpected twist in the plot, but the explanation of why she didn’t know it…well, that was an interesting slant. The secondary characters are one we met in Roane, and they add a feeling of family…of community that all plot participants need. I look forward to seeing where this series goes with the next release, Circe's Recruits: Derrick

This book starts off with Cam who is considered The Empath King among the warriors that serve under him and he hates the name, even though it is a true one. When he sees Amadeaha in a neutral bar, and figures out she is the one he has been sent to get for Michael, all bets are off when his feelings for her go into overdrive.

Amadeaha knows she is now a wanted angel, and a spy for the chief Archangel Michael in Heaven. With the help of a fellow Justice Angel, she escapes from the clutches of her father and uncle Jehel, who want all Archangels dead. Now that she has talked with Cam’s family who encourages her to start a relationship with him, she is not sure what to do.

Angel’s Blood is the fifth book in the Archangel Series and I was not disappointed reading about Cam and Amadeaha’s budding relationship. The simple fact that this family always find ways to annoy each other is beyond the normal, but had me laughing at the Lehor family, who love each other very much, only after the death of their parents it has grown more so. I was very touched by the love the Archangels showed those who were not family, taking them into their flock without question. There seemed to be a lot of secrets surrounding Michael, regarding both his personal life and his job, with some of the archangel warriors. Those secrets may lead to betrayals, life changing situations, and loyalties to the wrong parties.

Stephani Hecht writes of serious battles among friends and foes that leave everyone involved scarred for life. With the help of Amadeaha from the last book coming on the scene, things really heated up. She goes through a lot, asking questions to help the head Archangel and the consequences are more than what she expected, precipitating her escape to Earth. I am so excited knowing that the next book is coming and I am waiting to read it with bated breath!

Mason Palmer is driving from Florida to Michigan when his car breaks down outside of small town Dixon, Alabama. Beau Gaines is the mechanic at the only repair shop for miles. Beau estimates it will take a week before Mason’s car can be repaired, and during that time, Mason and Beau form an immediate attraction to each other. By the time Mason is due to leave, he realized there was no going back to his old life and that loving Beau was like coming home.

A Tender Rough is a heartwarming romance. Mason had never known love and used his cynic attitude to hide his pain. Beau is optimistic and helps Mason to live his life rather than go through the motions. Fae Sutherland created a well paced plot with emotional characters who, at times, seem more of a male-female couple. The love scenes are sensual and I could relate to the city meets country storyline. A Tender Rough is an enjoyable tale.

Jalon is a witch and he’s known about the existence of triad relationships all of his life; he just never expected to be involved in one. He’s never been interested in men. So, the idea that he was emotionally and sexually bound to another man didn’t sit too well, even if together, they and Gelsey served as guardian protectors of one specific pentagram stone. He resists the bond, failing to consummate the physical union which would only strengthen their powers. Neither of his partners, Cian and Gelsey, push Jalon to accept them, yet he can’t deny his increasing attraction to Cian the longer they are together. After what seems like weeks of waiting, it only takes one passionate kiss between the two men, and Jalon melts, allowing the three to become one. While they struggle to strengthen their bond, they must hunt through Rome in search of the garnet stone; at the same time they must avoid the evil witch Matlyn, who wants to see them dead.

Garnet Strength is the second release in Ms. Barron’s The Pentagram Stones series. This one merges the power of magic (witch and faerie), love and destiny as three lovers struggle to overcome not only the newness of their triad relationship, but the scheming of the witch, Matlyn, as well. Of the three, Jalon is the one having the most difficulty dealing with their triad. After all, he’s never been interested in a man before and Ms. Barron does a nice job expressing his unsettled emotions. She does equally well when he surrenders to his desire and the three join in their love and the completion of their union surges their powers. The sex between them is frequent, hot and tender, no matter where they happen to be. Unfortunately, for me, too much time is spent on their physical relationship, and not enough on the actual hunt for the garnet stone. Don’t get me wrong - the scenes of their hunt and the conflict with Matlyn to regain it are well done. It was just, from my perspective, the story seemed weighted heavily on the side of the intimate workings of Jalon, Cian and Gelsey’s relationship.

The secondary characters in this story are few; Kellen, from Amethyst Eyes and two new ones, Jessup, a dark faerie, and Regina, a shifter hiding in plain sight with the enemy. These two lovers are interesting and I look forward to seeing where they figure into future releases, and where the series goes, with the next release.

Cadence Catherine McGee arrives early for a birthday party, only to find the guest of honor slain and mutilated. She never liked Robert, but his wife, CC’s best friend Debra, has also been attacked. Debra is suffering from spinal cord injuries.

CC vows to find the culprit when the paralyzed Debra is whisked away from the hospital. She uses what little information she can to find about Robert, and heads to South Africa to find her friend.

On the plane, she meets handsome Travis Goddard. He works for the Department of Natural Resources and lines her up with a job. CC is a kick-ass helicopter pilot with military experience. Carter Wescott is an ex-DEA officer working at the same airfield. He really lights CC’s fire, but she keeps her mission a secret from everyone.

It’s an interesting story, but I was put off by CC’s assumptions and found several details puzzling. She’s barely scraping by with her crop-dusting business, but travels to South Africa. How do you get a paralyzed woman out of a hospital without attracting attention? Do they really chase poachers with heavy ammunition? Doesn’t this endanger the ecosystem and the animals?

CC has lost both parents and fiancé. This is why she refuses to let her childhood friend die. I really did not feel the special closeness between the two women or any real urgency on CC’s part to find her “sister.”

The husband-wife team that authored this book gave us a lot of action, but the flow of action seemed disjointed. I did not feel a strong emotional commitment to the heroine. Carter, however, was an intriguing leading man.

Kate and Gavin invite Chris to go with them when his home burns down in All I Want (2.5 Nymphs) by GS Wiley. The storyline jumped about a little bit and I felt that the sex scene really did not sizzle at all.

In Kitten's Ribbons (4 Nymphs) by CC Bridges, Cooper and Jason decide to treat Lexi something different for Christmas. Lexi is usually the Dom in their relationship. The sex scene at the club had me going for the ice water. CC Bridges wove a heartwarming story with Jason learning to overcome some of his insecurities.

Dom and Francis are best friends and former lovers in Christmas at Abbie's (1.5 Nymphs) by KJ Cartmell. I did not feel any passion at all between Abbie, Dom, and Francis in the sex scenes or their interactions with each other. I thought the story line was a little shallow and was not smoothly written.

Christmas Presence (3.5 Nymphs) by Cari Z. Best friends and lovers Mason and Lor went their separate ways. Lor’s lover left him so Mason and Vivian ask him to share their Christmas at a cabin Vivien owns. There was a fairly good story line and Lor’s insecurities came through clearly.

In The Good Girl (4 Nymphs) by Megan Rose, Sarah is a plus size model with a lot of self doubt. Neil and Jack are her two neighbors, whom she has fantasies about but think they are gay. Neil and Jack convince Sarah to model for a friend that is opening a fetish store on Christmas Eve. This story kept flowing and the sex scenes were hot.

In Let it Snow (3.5 Nymphs) by BA Tortuga, Vicki can’t fly to Florida because her flight is cancelled, due to a snow storm. Mark and Luke don’t understand why Vicki wants to leave them. They want her to stay and live with them, but since Vicki has lost everything, she feels that she would be a burden to them. This is a nice heartwarming story. Vicki’s insecurities come through and you can feel the emotions of all three as if you were there in the room.

Down the Chimney overall is a fairly good read. Some stories are better than others.

Best friends Warren, Kasey and Mitch are snowed in and have nothing interesting to do. When Mitch decides to help Kasey with a gay sex scene in his book, he realizes that his “straight” friends may not be so easily labeled anymore after the snow melts away.

I cannot express how much I enjoyed Snowed In. I have an allergy to ménage a trios stories but as a reader, both these author’s have become automatic reads for me. So I took this on despite my reservations with the genre. Most of the time, threesomes leave me with a feeling of emptiness. Two of the couples have the strongest connection, whereas the third always reads like an annoying intruder. As a reader this makes me uncomfortable. I’m a traditional reader who likes her romance between two people. However I decided to see what these two women could offer in the ménage a trios genre.

To begin, the characters were very realistic and so likeable. They were literally from different walks of life. Mitch is a twenty-nine year old bisexual man, Kasey is a young twenty-five year old and Warren, the eldest of the group, is thirty-eight. Their ages brought flavor to their friendship. Mitch was the instigator of this whole ordeal, Kasey needed help with his gay sex scene and Mitch, having been with other men, was the perfect teacher. He taught his friends how to be with a man; and it was written in a tender but erotic way.

Kasey was adorable in this story, he’s young and more curious and open to learning about gay sex. However, Warren was more skittish and a lot more reserved. He wasn’t so sure about what they were doing, but his obvious discomfort was endearing. I loved how Kasey and Mitch kept their eye on Warren, making sure he was okay with what they were doing. It never once felt like Kasey and Mitch ignored Warren, and that’s what made me enjoy this threesome so much.

The prose and language were both tight and nicely constructed. The sex scenes never got boring. However the formatting of the story jarred me a little. The story was chunked into small paragraphs made up of six lines at a time, which admittedly hindered my enjoyment at times.

However, Snowed In is a fantastic story - a story about three men and their journey. Yes this story has a lot of sex. But the character’s friendship and devotion shines through till the very end. I would love to see these characters again one day and I hope if the authors ever write a ménage story again, they use Snowed In as their platform. Snowed In is a story I recommend whole heartedly.

Talaith is a beautiful Nolwenn witch who has been trained to be an assassin by a goddess who wants revenge on the Blood Queen. Unfortunately, the goddess is willing to let Talaith go to her death trying to accomplish her task. When Briec happens onto a hanging initiated by her own husband, he saves her. Talaith is happy to be free of a man she never wanted, and already looking for ways to escape Briec’s grasp to wait for the goddess’ call.

Briec is brother to Fearghus the Destroyer, and he’s looking for what has changed him into a happy dragon. Because he has been living alone most of his life, he finds it difficult to accept Talaith and her constant talking is driving him crazy. When she comes face to face with the goddess, and escapes his lair while he was away, to do the deed that was demanded of her, all the while hating the goddess. Briec goes off the deep end a little drinking with his brothers, because of the heartbreaking feeling that Talaith has deserted him.

About A Dragon is the continuing story of dragons and humans coming together to have love, peace and unity in the land. I found myself laughing out loud at the antics of both Talaith and Briec along with others, especially when they found something insulting to say to each other. These two really needed the attention they gave of themselves and his siblings egging them on did not help matters. Behind the developing relationship between Talaith and Briec is a conniving goddess whose main goal is to destroy Annwyl, the Blood Queen who is back again. G. A. Aiken did not disappoint me with the vivid descriptions of the dragons and Annwyl’s fighting skills and berserker rages.

With the addition of Talaith’s daughter, things got even funnier, with her blurting out anything that came to mind. Between the hot and heavy sex scene and comments made by the different characters, human and dragon alike, I was kept entertained through the entire book. G. A. Aiken carries on with the saga of Dragon Kin and has done a fantastic job of telling a story about how dragons and humans work together to defeat gods, goddesses and the members of humankind that want to destroy them. From what I have been reading there is going to be even more stories with these dragons, and I eagerly await the next release in this exciting series. Read and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed!

Jonah moved to Seattle to get as far away from his parents as possible, while still remaining in the continental United States. He hasn’t visited for the Hanukkah holidays for the past four years but he can’t avoid his aging parents, or his guilt, any longer. This year, he’s coming home with the intention of confessing that not only is he gay, but that he makes his living as a successful gay novelist. The holiday gets off to a rocky start when he’s picked up at the airport by Dr. Ethan Rosenberg, the man with whom he’s always been unfavorably compared. To make matters worse, he discovers Ethan is staying with his parents; a blizzard sets in and then the power goes off, stranding the extended family in a house without heat.

Not only is his family driving him crazy, but straight Ethan seems to be flirting with him. What does that mean? Is he sincere or is he playing a vicious trick like he did when they were in high school? It’s right after the power failure that a precious family heirloom disappears and several family members blame ‘unsuccessful’ Jonah. As Ethan and Jonah grow closer, they struggle to discover who among the family is a thief; before the snow melts, the power is restored, and the thief can get away.

Holiday Outing is a fun and fast-paced contemporary thrill ride of family holiday horrors that kept me chuckling from beginning to end. In fact, the opening paragraphs were so amusingly descriptive of why Jonah moved away from his parents, that I had to read the passages out loud to my husband.

Jonah and Ethan get off to a rocky start and Ms. Amara does a nice describing how old memories from high school influence the renewed acquaintance of our two guys. I applaud the unique way these two come together. I mean, can you remember a romance starting while confined in a house without heat, surrounded by various quirky relatives…I can’t. While the difficulties with Jonah’s family are unsettling and problematic, it serves to show how many adult children feel about their parents in particular and their extended family in general. Add to this Jonah’s fear of confessing his secret…he’s gay, and his fear escalates. The beauty of the aspect of the story is that anyone can relate to the dread of telling a secret, no matter what it is.

Even with these serious portions, there’s no way to deny that this creative holiday story is down right amusing. The dialogue will make you laugh, and watching Jonah and Ethan stumble around looking for the family thief, a perfect tool to draw them closer. I admit I’ve never read anything by this author before, but after finishing Holiday Outing, I’ll be looking for more of her books in the future. Good reading!

After escaping from his prison in a facility studying his abilities, he has found himself on the streets trying to survive. With nowhere to run or hide, he tries to end his existence, only to meet a man prepared to help him permanently gain his freedom. New York Firefighter Pete Santori doesn’t know if Alan really started the fire in the building, but he felt their mutual heat. Can he save Alan from a life as a lab experiment?

Where The Devil Dances by T.A. Chase – 4 Nymphs
It’s been three years since Architect Eric Sandel survived a terrible fire. Moving to Morley is part of his healing process. He hasn’t allowed any lovers to get close enough to him to explain his scars, but Firefighter David Browdie is a different type of man. Handsome and alluring, David doesn’t have time for relationships, but something about Eric calls to him. The resurrection of the demon that endangered Eric three years past will test their love, and David’s ability to save the man he loves.

Hearts Afire: January brings firefighters to us up-close and personal. Both authors have created wonderful stories with perfect backdrops for their stories. The characters draw you in, and will have you rooting for the underdog. If you enjoy gay firefighters, who aren’t scared of love and commitments, then you won’t want to miss reading this story. Action, suspense, romance and enticing male loving are a part of both stories, and I recommend this book to those who enjoy the genre.

Roy is one of the privileged few. Born with the proverbial silver spoon, he does not have to work for anything. After he becomes mixed up with the wrong people, everything starts spiraling out of control, resulting in the death of his older brother. Refusing to go along with his father’s request and move back East, Roy is cut off without a penny to his name. When his boyfriend finds out, he decides to kick Roy to the curb literally. Scooby is a young street kid who does whatever he needs to survive. When he sees Roy step out of a limo one night, he figures he’s found an easy mark. Things turn out differently than either man figured as they take turns rescuing each other. As their feelings grow, it soon becomes apparent to Roy that the only way either of them will be able to survive is to leave the neighborhood for good.

Poor Boy, while a good book, is, by no means, an easy read due to the many dark topics the author covers. No punches are pulled while covering the issues of alcoholism, drugs, prostitution, and life on the streets. The characters, while flawed, are well thought out and grow together as they overcome their pasts. The reader cannot help but root for the two men as they are forced to face their problems and struggle to make a better life for themselves.

Matt Lucas returned home from the Hawaiian Islands the night before and still has not heard from Thomas Carter, the man he fell in love with. Feeling depressed and lonely, Matt is beginning to think he dreamed it all. After chatting with his twin brother Ryan, Matt decides to fly to Canada and see Thomas. Matt’s arrival at Thomas’s apartment is met with a surprise in the form of that pesky Christian, the same man who tried to break up Ryan and Cole.

Back to Black Point is the sequel to Black Point where I first met Matt and Thomas. Both are gay romance authors with the same publisher. Pushed beyond his endurance with Christian, Matt allows his temper to take control, but things are not always as they appear. Thomas has to quickly deal with his fears or face losing Matt. The incredible talents of A.J. Llewellyn and D.J. Manly produced another illustration of how complicated life can get with secrets and lies in the relationship. This is an excellent plot with points of Hollywood interest, detailed characters so real, I feel compelled to slap several of them, hard. The intimate scenes are very erotic. I am looking forward to part three of Black Point Series where I hope the just desserts will be well served; pesky on a platter could do wonders for everyone’s disposition including mine.

With the death of his father, David Blackleigh has gone from high born to commoner in the blink of an eye. Having his ancestral home and possessions granted to another has David seeking revenge. What he gains isn’t the title he was born to inherit, but the love of Connor. Connor Donnaugh is an outlaw leader and Davy’s savior. He is instantly attracted to the beautiful young man, but hasn’t trusted to share love with another in many years. Connor will learn to love again, and Davy, for the first time, learn what it means to live.

Jez Morrow brings love, passion, suspense, and wicked wolf battles in Name of a Wolf. I loved the characters, setting, and era that this story took place in. Each character, from the loudest to the mousiest, brought something wonderful to this story. One of my favorites, by far, was a supporting character name Leann. Her quiet demeanor tugged at my heart, but when she finally decided to let herself communicate, I giggled at her responses. Davy and Connor are a thunderstorm in black and white. Their feelings are charged and genuine. This is a fantastic story that I would recommend to those who enjoy the genre.

Mike is a dance instructor who has been going through some hard times. His long time dance partner and wife has left him for another dancer and his rebound relationship turned out to be married. Deciding to teach one of the evening classes, he is surprised by his feelings for Alasdair, the young man he first runs into in the hall. Alasdair is an ex-cop, now private detective, trying to help the local police department solve a series of jewel robberies. Taking dance classes for his upcoming wedding, Alasdair never figures he would meet someone like Mike. When Alasdair’s past and future collide, it's up to Mike to make things right.

I enjoyed Cita Power’s Desperation Dancing very much. The main characters, Mike and Alasdair, hit it off from the very beginning yet the sometimes shy Alasdair does not always seem to notice. The jewel heists Alasdair is out to solve are almost a side point in the story as the author concentrates on the budding friendship of the two men. Just when it seems the pair will never get together, the author ends the story in a way that not only closes this story but also hopefully bring Mike and Alasdair back for more.

Ariel wants more than Daemon has been giving her, so she does a DVD showing her having rough sex with a werewolf and sends it to Daemon. Daemon decides to punish her by going all out, but also inviting some of his friends. It comes to light that both love each other, but Daemon didn’t think Ariel could handle the life of being a vampire until she sent the DVD and survived his punishment,

Daemon’s Revenge is well written and places you right in the room where you feel the raw sexuality in the air. I could not put this down. Anyone that likes both paranormal and BDSM will want to add this one to their bookshelf.

Warning: Some hard-core group sex.

Thad is a hunter that polices Leopards. He and his father have been estranged for years, so he is very surprised that his father left him Pierce’s Lair. Thad does not really want the bar, but feels honor bound to carry on his father’s wishes.

Megan has worked at Pierce’s Lair as the manager for years and thought she had a contract agreement with Thad’s father that she would be able to buy the bar. She goes to see if Thad will honor the contract, but discovers it is missing.

The sparks fly, even though they both find themselves embroiled in a fight between two factions of Leopards. Thad tries to protect her as well as tries to help settle differences between the factions.

Vision Fulfilled is one hot story. Ms. O’Clare keeps the action going hot and heavy between Megan and Thad. In addition to the romance, she intertwines a very good suspense story that brings Thad’s hunter background into play.
