The morning before Christmas, Boone is standing on the back deck consuming coffee while talking to himself. This is Boone’s daily ritual in an effort to accustom his body to the cold temperatures of Summit City.

A Summit City Christmas is a holiday short and part of the Sno Ho series. The story, narrated by Boone briefly highlights the personalities of friends, family as well as the difference in Wade and Boone’s backgrounds. Boone is somewhat of a pampered princess with an opinion on everything including the décor of Wade’s traditional Christmas tree. Wade is attempting to hold on to his small town values, but he is slowly losing the battle because of his love for and from Boone. In order to fully savor A Summit City Christmas, I suggest reading the beginning story Sno Ho followed by Life in Fusion. The characters are outrageously funny as well as incredibly enjoyable, especially Boone.
