Alpha of the Boston North Pack Tobias Rogan and his mate Kyle Slidell attend the Northeast Region conference in Pennsylvania. However, a dark cloud hangs over what should have been a happy occasion. Not everyone approves of the officially recognized alpha mated to a male.

Veggie Burgers to Go is listed as the third installment in the Real Werewolves Don't Eat Meat Series. Nevertheless, the events in this storyline suggest Veggie Burgers to Go is the second book, followed by the holiday release Tofurkey and Yams. In this installment Kyle is still having problems integrating his take charge personality with his low position in the werewolf hierarchy. Also, for the safety of all werewolves, Kyle must sever ties with his human family. Kyle feels guilty because he was not allowed to defend his mate as well as friends. With so many changes in his life, Kyle suffers a mini meltdown. Tobias has his own troubles to deal with. Danger to the pack brings his wolf side to the forefront making it hard to control the internal violence which could accidently harm Kyle.

Karenna Colcroft’s exceptionally impressive Veggie Burgers to Go illustrates the mindset of homophobia. Demonstrating sexuality has nothing to do with abilities to lead and that stupidity has no gender. I enjoyed this saga immensely.
