Marty is on the verge of marriage...and having cold feet. So when the opportunity arises to go on a short camping trip with friends, he goes for it. When Darkness Falls is not a romance, but it's a great little story. At only thirty pages, it combines the feel-good vibes of a fun camping trip, the antics of young men and women looking for a little more than conversation, and an intense chase in a forest with vampires. The blurb on the publisher's website says: "If you loved Salem's Lot you're sure to like When Darkness Falls!" I totally agree. If you like vampire horror stories that are reminiscent of classic vamp flicks, then give When Darkness Falls a shot. I give it 3 Nymphs.
