Cat shifter Tigs leaps into the tree next to the burning building he and his construction crew were restoring. Before Tigs can climb down, fireman Dustin Hardesty climbs a ladder to rescue the cat. Tigs objects to being manhandled until he notices how handsome Dustin is and then Tigs willingly perches on Dustin’s shoulder for the ride down. Another fireman is intent on taking Tigs to the shelter; again Dustin comes to his rescue and carries Tigs home with him. The two spent the night in a sensuous embrace that neither man would ever forget.
The amazing Lena Austin creates an incredible short story that is hilarious, as well as romantic, with sexy main characters and steamy love scenes. Flash Point features Tigs, a feisty tomcat that is laugh-out-loud funny. He is a hard working, honest contractor with common sense. His amorous night with Dustin identified to Tigs the difference in their social rank and quietly leaves Dustin to find love among his peers. Dustin is a quiet perceptive man who cares deeply for Tigs. Social standings are not an issue to Dustin, he loves and wants Tigs. The plot is well written and well paced. Flash Point is an emotionally uplifting saga that I enjoyed immensely.
