Keegan has no idea what or who he is until the night a group of Ravens show up to kill him. On the run with a tiger shifter that seems to have disappeared, Keegan calls out for help.

After being rejected by his family and most of the other shifters, Rat is used to being alone with no one to really trust. He has a job with Mitch’s group of shifters but he knows as soon as he screws up, they will kick him out just like everyone else has. So why is he getting the hots for Mitch’s baby brother?

Author Stephani Hecht has several ongoing series, one of which is the Lost Shifters. The latest release, Savage Awakenings, is not only the third installment in this series, it is probably the best to date. I was glad to see that this story was going to revolve around Keegan and Rat, who I was worried would turn out to be the leak. When the author brings Keegan, who is one of the lost shifters and Mitch’s baby brother, and Rat, who is the coalition’s computer expert, together the attraction is instant and it is not long before Rat realizes that he has found his mate. The pages burn once these two hit the sack. The author also brings in a lot of action as Rat and Keegan race to Michigan, hoping to stay one step ahead of the Ravens. With two missing brothers still out there, and one fierce leader with no mate, this is one series I hope will not be ending any time soon.
