Not only is Mark having a hard time handling the after-effects of an avalanche, he is also being hassled by his good-natured friends to jump back into the dating pool. Now it seems that his boss’ wife and a process server are both determined to make his life a living hell.

P.D. Singer’s Fall Down The Mountain is part of the ongoing Mountain series and varies slightly from the previous books. While the earlier stories centered on Kurt and Jake, this new book is all about Mark. Mark was introduced in a previous story and he instantly became someone you wanted to know more about. I was glad to see him finally meet someone he could possibly call his own. Although Mark and Allan obviously belong together, theirs is not a smooth relationship and I am hoping the author has more stories planned as I would like to see these two truly get their happily-ever-after.

Other than the romance between Mark and Allan, there are a couple of secondary plotlines that play heavily into the story. At times, I wondered how they all would fit together and was happy with the outcome.

A couple of side notes regarding this book. First, while I would recommend reading the earlier books, Fall Down The Mountain will catch you up on anything you may have missed. Second, there is one ménage scene that occurs in the beginning of the story. If this is not to your liking and you wish to by-pass these few pages, it is possible to do so without ruining the rest of the story.
