If Shanna could get past her bad luck with men, dead end job and sexless existence, she could say life on Earth was a happy one. The situation seems like a twisted version of paradise that she would willingly accept when weighed against her current predicament. Awakening after her abduction from Earth to discover that she will be sold as a sex slave never occurred as a possibility in her wildest dreams. Unfortunately for her abductors, Shanna isn’t some tiny slip of a woman who plans to be docile. No, they picked the wrong woman to kidnap.

Hyvin Berrr is the leader of Zorn. He doesn’t understand the allure Earthlings have on his sons until he meets Shanna. He sees his chance at happiness and is willing to move mountains to keep his Shanna happy. When his past threatens his future, Berrr may have no option to but let happiness slip through his fingers. Is Shanna willing to walk away or is she willing to fight for her man?

Berrr's Vow, Laurann Dohner’s fourth book of the Zorn Warriors series, has become my favorite. If I could identify myself in one of the women so far, it’s Shanna. Her life hasn’t been easy but she refuses to give in because of her size or circumstance. She’s tough as nails when she needs to get and one hundred percent woman when she gains entry to Berrr’s bed. Berrr is a man of honor. His role as leader ties his hands in some instances and makes protecting Shanna difficult. It was nice to see the large man finally gain some happiness after so many years of suffering.

A few new characters were introduced in the latest installment and I’m hoping Ms. Dohner will branch off and create stories for one in particular. She combines action and some wickedly sensual scenes between Berrr and Shanna to create one of the best stories for this series. I’m anxious to see which warrior is next to fall hard. Pickup a copy and enjoy!
