Oliver is the only gay man as well as the only butcher a remote, rural community in Australia. The farmers keep Oliver stocked with first-rate meat straight off the farm, and Oliver in turn kept them stocked in the freshest, highest quality cuts you could find within a two days’ drive. The butcher is the first to meet the new family of five male shifters who moved into an abandoned ranch nearby, Oliver is intrigued, especially when the strangers place a standing order for a cow per week.

Shifting Perspectives: Oliver & Angus is an impressive launch to this series. The short story is well paced. The characters are creditable. The love scenes are sizzling. Oliver is human, but related to the town’s alpha. Oliver is immediately drawn to Angus who is alpha of the new resident pack. However, Oliver is not familiar with Angus’ breed or the breed’s mating ritual. Angus knew with the first sniff that Oliver was his mate and wasted no time claiming him. Nerine Petros has created a fantastic as well as an amusing first story that I enjoyed immensely. I look forward to the next addition.
