Mayze by D.J. Manly - 5 Nymphs

Lust in its many forms is the theme of this plot.  Featured is the lust to be viewed as the most pious of men and the destroyer of evil, such is the goal of a priest who has appointed himself as a vampire hunter.  Then you have the lust for power, conducted by a vampire set on building a vampire empire to rule over.  Interwoven in the chaos is Jas Adem, whose life is turned upside down with the death of his older sister and Mayze Senokoff, a vampire whose lust for revenge against his maker plus his lust for the flesh sparks a love for Jas so strong that Mayze cannot resist.

Burnt Island by A.J. Llewellyn - 4 Nymphs

Thane Covey is the focus of desire for three men.  Each man is jealous of the time Thane spends with someone else.  However, in the twisted mind of one of those men, jealous desire turns into a deadly stalker’s obsession.

Summer Escape by Serena Yates - 4 Nymphs

Carlton Jaymes Pearce receives an ultimatum from his doctor: reduce stress levels or have a heart attack. Carlton decides to finally learn how to sail.  Meeting Troy Nicholls proves to be the best health decision Carlton has ever made until the distorted wrath of his past comes back to haunt Carlton.

Each story in the Sins of Summer anthology showcases a common theme of lonely men who discover love in unlikely ways along with fanatical villains bent on destroying the men they have been denied personal access to.  All three stories illustrate the intriguing psychological crossover between temporary losses of control and the almost undetectable progression into a psychotic.  Sins of Summer is an exceptionally enjoyable romance with a twist.
