Raindrops And Roses is the first book in the London Calling series. The characters are well matched, Both are mature peaceful men focused on their professions only to the extent of doing quality work. However, their jobs are not the total sum of their life. The short time spent together exhibits how much they have in common. Drew is a project manager for a Canadian restoration company. Michael is an editor for a publisher and works at home. Michael has a cat he rescued and named Marmalade. When Michael brought Drew home for a visit, Marmalade could sense that Drew likes cats; so in Marmalade’s regal opinion, Drew is deemed quite suitable to pet him.

Christiane France has created a delightfully heartwarming romantic encounter short story that I very much enjoyed.
