College Professor David Staller is shopping for his favorite brand of shoes when he meets the salesman for that shoe brand, Erik Bergstrom. Immediately attracted to each other, David and Erik start on a journey of sexual discovery and falling in love.

Zachary Zangel’s On the Way to the Wedding is David’s written chronicle of the events that occurred, leading up to their marriage. Erik has an ex-wife and ten-year-old son. Erik is also a virgin to man-love, but is enthusiastic about learning. David is a well-versed tutor in sexual positions. He also recounts all the bumps in the road they come across as he and Erik move toward a happy commitment. I found this an enjoyable story for the most part, but the casual threesomes did not reflect a committed couple in my mind.
