Kate Hill’s Breath takes us to Australia for the next captivating installment of the Mate Marks series. Flick has had time to get used to being bound to a human. He knows life as a Guardian can be lonely without a mate. Teena seemed content with her life until Flick held her in his arms. I believe that gentle touch followed by their passionate encounter sealed the deal and eliminated most of her resistance. I was happy to see them not waste time protesting what was clearly a perfect match. Ms. Hill has given us three beautiful backdrops for this series, and has me anxiously awaiting the next story. The characters, setting, and plot-flow making Breath a fantastic read.
