As this story starts out, you are quickly drawn into the main characters’ lives. The connection between them is strong and the passion hot. I loved the way the Dylan continued to be flustered by his reactions to Michael, even after the two of them became lovers. Yet, as much as I loved Ice Cream on the Side, I kept thinking “how will this sweet story become a murder mystery?” However, the author works the mystery into the story very smoothly and once it was worked in, I became hooked. As characters were introduced and the reason for the murders became clear, I began to suspect everybody. By the time this story drew to a close, and Dylan and Michael come together, I hated to see it end. This fast-paced book, a combination sweet romance and murder mystery, is sure to find a place on many keeper shelves
