Bobby Bielecki is on spring break from college so he goes home to help run the family wine store while his adopted father and partner take a vacation. Bobby’s once-best friend and lost love, Kenny Johnson, is also coming home to help out in the store. In spite of the tension between them, Bobby and Kenny decide to put their differences aside and work together. Being together again, Bobby and Kenny explore their past, in addition to reviving the love they thought was lost.

Uncorked is the heartwarming sequel to Bottled Up. Bobby was an abused teenager living on the streets until he was rescued and adopted by Sean and his partner, Sam. Kenny was brought into the home when his policeman father was killed in the line of duty. Bobby and Kenny lived in the same household until they went away to different colleges. During the loss of contact with his best friend, Bobby feels rejected by Kenny. In awe of Bobby’s talent, Kenny did not consider himself to be worthy of Bobby’s love. Kenny encouraged Bobby to pursue his dreams, even though he regretted pushing Bobby away.

This well written emotional storyline features two young men growing into a mature loving relationship. The developed characters illustrate realistic sentiment to the various dilemmas that occupied them. The interwoven background informs the reader of how the present love story began. Andrew Grey has created an impressive saga that I greatly enjoyed.
