Chris Gibson and John Soong are partners for a secret organization. Their latest assignment goes south when their target is seriously wounded. John and Chris have different ideas on handling the situation but in the end, they both agree to use some deception to keep Andrei Voronin from knowing the truth.

Andrei’s work for the Russian mob has finally come to bite him in the butt. He doesn’t remember that life or the two men who claim to be his lovers. However, one thing is clear; Andrei knows life wouldn’t be the same without John and Chris.

One Russian mob associate and two secret agents bring action, suspense, and sexual heat to us in Clean Slate. Chris and John are complete opposites; it was like watching a sexy and dangerous odd couple in action. Andrei is the balance the men need to recognize the connection they share and bridge a way to make it work. I have to admit I love John’s personality. He had to be a strong man to work with Chris. Chris’ actions were a shield to hide his true feelings. Thank goodness, Andrei knew what was important and laid just the right seeds to help create the perfect threesome.

Aleksandr Voinov and Barbara Sheridan have written a great mystery. They supply just enough detail to place us into the scenes without distracting us from the story. Those who enjoy contemporary suspense will enjoy Clean Slate.
