Catherine “Cat” Lohr is a psychic and hunter for the Anima Mundi. Her lover and fellow hunter Adam Bell goes missing and Cat finds herself facing down three evils to regain his freedom. There is a race against time and it will take a team of hunters not to just find Adam, but to destroy the evil that keeps evading its final destruction.
Cat is facing her old nemesis Elizabeth Barthory in the latest Necuratul installment. There is no rest for a hunter. While Cat is trying to gain a bit of R&R after the last battle, Cat gets the news of Adam’s abduction. I loved the fact that the grandfathers once again came to speak with her. I know Adam loves Cat but I was worried that his family would never accept her. Cat has a great deal riding on her shoulders, between work and home, but she pulls it together and draws on an inner strength long forgotten. Sheri Lewis Wohl has written yet another wonderful installment with Necuratul 3: Blood Secrets, bringing back a few of the characters we have come to love and enjoy. The setting is spectacular, and the story contains just enough adventure and suspense to capture your attention.
