Hacker Mel Broward is currently serving time for his illegal work for the mob. While he has never committed a crime of murder, his protector has Mel considering ways of offing him to be free of the torment he endures. However, an angel has delivered a more productive source for his escape, well not quite escape. Mel can gain an early parole if he agrees to work for an alien archaeologist named Neertreffa.
In Parole, we share Mel Broward’s adventure and moments of self-dicovery when he decides to take Neertreffa up on the offer. The job isn’t as easy as he had hoped but it will give Mel a chance to see what he is truly made of. Neertreffa found Mel to be a worthwhile confidant, companion, and lover. Parole has some sex, action, suspense and a good fight scene. I liked the characters as well as the setting for this story and found it to be an enjoyable to read.
