Conner and Tim have known each other since school. While they spent less than a year together and only stayed in touch with a few letters, they had formed a strong bond. Conner hopes it is strong enough to stand up to the test he is getting ready to place on their friendship. Transferring to San Diego, Conner decides to stay with Tim for a few days to check out the area. As the two of them renew their friendship, Conner's feelings for Tim continue to grow as well.
Tim is not sure he’s ready for his friend's visit. Uncomfortable with people invading his space at the best of times, Tim is doubly uncomfortable with the large man who stepped of the plane. When Conner ends up revealing his feelings for Tim, the man is unsure how to handle it.

Both the main characters, as well as the meddling secondary ones, are strongly written. The fact that not everything is always easy is a refreshing change from the normal template of some to today’s romance stories.
