Dan is a forty year old man, recovering from a broken heart. Working out daily with his best friend has helped in the healing process. Dan’s expected his gym visits to help him tone and possibly add some bulk to his frame, not introduce him to the man of his dreams, Gene Harper.

Gene has two priorities in his life…work and bodybuilding. He wants a man who sees him as a person, not a possession. The moment he set eyes on Dan, he knew he’d just found his heart’s desire. The more time they spent together, the more Gene’s sure Dan is the one.

Now can Gene get Dan to give love a try?

Andrew Grey’s Spot Me takes us into the testosterone world of a local gym where we meet Gene and Dan. Gene sees no reason why the spring-autumn relationship shouldn’t work. I loved his tenacity and willingness to make Dan comfortable. He is also quite the romantic and if anyone deserved some romance, it was Dan. Dan’s former relationship scarred the man’s psyche. His reaction to Gene proved some of the scars haven’t completely scabbed over. While he was scared, Dan didn’t run away from his chance to experience a healthy relationship. I absolutely enjoyed Andrew Grey’s book. From the characters to the setting, he adds just enough detail to make the gym scenes come to life. Those who enjoy the genre should pick up a copy.
