Keeping Alex safe, as they travel from Chicago to the pack compound in North Carolina, isn’t easy with werewolves and human bounty hunters hot on their tail. Joshua knows he’s in trouble the first time he scents Alex and his desire for her only gets stronger the longer they remain together. As much as he wants to take her as his mate, he knows the distraction could get them injured, or worse, killed. Claiming her will have to wait. Hopefully they’ll survive the journey.
Alexandra’s Legacy is the first in a new series, Legacy, by author N.J. Walters. I can truthfully say it’s a great werewolf book, with the potential for being a wonderful series, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next release. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves paranormal romances…werewolves in particular.

The story is well-written, has a smooth intriguing plot, and the background information is placed within the tale seamlessly. It starts fast and only moves faster, until it’s racing at breakneck speed, as the trip across country gets more dangerous the closer Joshua and Alex get to their destination. These two characters fit the mold of Alpha wolves perfectly…loyal, sexy, determined, deadly fighters, and passionate. When this werewolf couple gets together, watch out for the flames.
