Kontra has been all over the United States searching for the mate he knows exists.  When he finally finds the man, he’s shocked to find out that the man wants nothing to do with him.  When danger shows up, however, the last thing Kontra plans to do is leave his mate.

Silver-Tipped Justice is a new release in the Kontra’s Menagerie by author Charlie Richards.  From the start of this series, I have been waiting for each of the bikers to find their mate, but probably none more than Kontra.  From the first time this character showed up, it was evident that the big, tough, bear shifter cared about each member of his pack.  With a character that can easily intimidate others, yet has a caring side as well, I was curious about the type of character that would become his mate.

Tim is an interesting character.  Only part shifter, Tim lacks many of the special talents the others have.  He is also grieving, so Tim’s reaction when he first meets Kontra is understandable, although I ended up feeling bad for Kontra.  Tim has a lot of mystery surrounding him. The way it comes out, and later is resolved, will surprise the reader. There are many ways the men’s relationship could go south after Kontra is forced to mate Tim, but their relationship stays strong.

While some of the pack show up to help their Alpha and his new mate, many of the secondary characters are new.  One of those new characters is Tim’s father and I would love to see this older shifter find his mate among Kontra’s pack members.

Silver-Tipped Justice is an interesting addition to the series, and while the books can stand on their own, I would recommend reading them in order.  There are still several members of the pack who have yet to find their mates and I can’t wait to see what the author has planned.
