Edmund James wants nothing more than to live in London being the rake he is with friends attending outrageous sex parties among other things. Although his father has other ideas for him and if he does not want to be disowned then he will be taking the job as Vicar. The demands he places on Sylvie makes her long to want more each time they are together. Then he himself has to come to grips with how he feels for her.
A Lady in Waiting is a wonderful love story surrounding two people that find love when they were not even looking for it. The shyness to the outright boldness of the lovers showed that they were very caring of each other when it came to the lovemaking and locations of their trysts. There is plenty of hot sex, suspense and more if this is to your liking. Samantha Kane has brought to life her characters of the Regency time and whisked me away with the descriptions of their clothing and homes.
