Hidden Enemies takes us into the life of a domestic violence survivor. What I love about Ravyn Wilde’s story is that Jenna didn’t just put her head in the sand and “hope” for a better tomorrow. She took the initiative and stood firm in her beliefs. Cole’s tough exterior is a shield for a man who doesn’t want anyone close enough to betray or abandon him. His heart is fragile and it was nice to see such a strong man show his true emotions. The characters imperfections gave them a real feel, while the plot and setting made Hidden Enemies a treat to read. I would recommend it to those who read the genre.
