The most beautiful woman Hunter has ever laid eyes on storms into his office mad as hell. He makes an indecent proposal that Lila agrees to. Hunter will discontinue the takeover of her father’s store if she becomes his temporary mistress.

Mistress to the Beast is a sexual tug of war between a woman who is passionate about her beliefs and a man who has given up on life. Lila’s love for her father is so touching and watching her agree to basically pimp herself out to save him was shocking, but in a good way. Talk about taking one for the team! Hunter sometimes crossed the line with his actions but I am glad to see he was remorseful and that Lila could touch his heart. I adore a broken man being put back together with the one woman meant for him, and this story is a perfect example of that. Eve Vaughn has created another winner.
