Jamie Smith operates an antique shop and was having a slow day when a customer comes in looking for a pearl necklace. While discussing the necklace, a band of vampires break in and trash the shop. Samuel Haridan hides Jamie but knows Jamie is still in danger, so Haridan takes Jamie home to Rome with him and introduces Jamie to the world of vampires.
Sight Unseen is another episode in the Legends of the Romanorum Inferi Brotherhood series which began with The Prince’s Angel. In this installment the magnificent team of Mychael Black and Shayne Carmichael gives us a peek into the law and order of the vampire society. These are not your average vampires. These vampires have rank and privilege; law breakers are dealt with in a swift and ruthless manner. Yet they are seductive loving protectors to the ones they choose, as Jamie soon learned with Haridan. The attraction was immediate and very intimate. As with all their stories, Sight Unseen is well written with a touch of humor and excellent characters and plot. I look forward to the next thrilling episode.
