Nicholas Pardoner, Private Investigator, is sitting in his favorite bar when he notices a vampire. Part of his job was to destroy all vampires, no questions asked. Slipping out into the alley next to the bar, Nick waited, when the vampire came out, Nick attacked. It didn’t take long for Nick to realize this was a fight he could not win, but instead of killing Nick, vampire Alex Finch steals his wallet and turns up on his door step the next evening to return the wallet. Nick allows Alex to move in, and a friendship is born.
The Pardoner’s Tale is a delightful story of Nick the werewolf and Alex the vampire, joining together to hunt down a deadly force that is out to get Alex. Morgan Ferdinand has created a hilarious saga that is very entertaining however; the genre is misleading in that this is not a romance story but a non-erotic paranormal comedy.
