Some of the characters from previous books appear, but that in no way hinders the enjoyment of this tale of redemption and love. There isn’t any doubt that Ms. Barron knows how to construct a well-written tale, because she shows her talent again in this intriguing fast-flowing story. Helena might be a submissive, but she’s also a feisty little hell-cat who owns a successful lingerie store. TK is a Dom through and through, but he’s also caring, loving and tender; always cognizant of his responsibilities as Helens’s teacher, lover and caretaker. On top of all that, the man’s a hunk who’s determined to heal ‘Shorty’ from the damage she experienced at the hand of the vicious Guest. She’s scared and hurting, and he’s patient and understanding, always thinking of Helena’s needs first. What’s not to like about the man? Nothing! On top of all that, the passion and chemistry between Helena and TK is blistering hot to the point of explosion. Read this one with a big glass of iced tea. You’re going to need it.
