Is it possible to fall in love with someone in just one night? If you’d have asked them yesterday, Ty Austin & Dale Evans would have dismissed the question outright. A couple of failed marriages under both their belts making them think the happily ever after just wasn’t on the cards. Ty had given up on finding a woman who understood him, who accepted him for who he was. Dale wasn’t about to open her heart up to someone again so easily either.
She was only in town to see a man about a horse but one look at Ty had her mouth watering. He was pure Sin in Jeans and if the look in his eye was anything to go by, Ty was definitely interested. The two get to talking but their minds soon start to wander and it’s not long before they are knocking the door to Dale’s hotel room down in the rush to get to the bed.
Not at all prepared for the passion and intensity that followed, next morning they secretly begin to wonder if maybe they didn’t count themselves out of luck a little too soon. Before they have time to think things over though, there’s trouble at the hotel. Luckily for Ty, Dale has just the thing to save his hide. It’s almost as if it’s fate…
A western tale with more than a hint of mystic and magic was not a combination I was expecting but although I sometimes felt the two themes could actually have been expanded to two separate stories, it in no way detracted from my enjoyment of reading this quickie. To me, this was like a modern day adult fairytale; the story of two good people, unlucky in love but finally finding their perfect partner and having a mind boggling amount of hot, steamy sex along the way.
