Working as an EMT, Jacyn is used to bad nights but not like the one he is getting ready to have. During the chaos, he meets the sexy Logan who claims to have been sent by his brother. Jacyn grew up in foster care and knows little to nothing of his family history; something that comes back and bites him in the butt.
Logan has been assigned the task of finding Jacyn for his brother, leader of the felines. Logan is used to being an outcast so when he begins to develop feelings for the new shifter, he does the only thing he can - run.
If you love shifter stories, this is one for you. The author brings together two men who are used to being alone. When Jacyn and Logan meet, even the intense battle going on around them cannot keep their lust at bay. As the men hit the road, both Jacyn and the reader are introduced to a new world of shifters, one in which a war is threatening to destroy the felines. As the author builds this new world for the reader, we learn that things are not always what they seem.
Author Stephani Hecht has started her new series The Lost Shifter with a bang. If Primal Passions is anything to go by, readers should expect a lot of hot sexy shifters and action packed adventure. As this is the first book, there are naturally some unanswered questions sure to be resolved in upcoming stories.
